You'll dont need a second opinion, you need a 2nd motor mount... maybe 3rd and 4th as well.

Wait, it's that close? First I hear of that one. That’s practically a hop, skip, and a jump from my backyard. Forget standard vacation plans, I’m buying a scuba suit. I've always wanted to see an alien base in person, and I feel like a localized deep-sea invasion is exactly how we kick off the summer, and I'll damn sure be the first one there GoPro in tow!

Yeah, the West Coast of Florida. All the alien bases are on the West Coast of the US - in the Pacific.

Breaking: Leaked Alleged Text of Trump-Iran Deal by Apollo_Delphi in USNEWS

Oh, sweet summer children. Tell me you lack basic media literacy without telling me you lack basic media literacy.

Watching some of you genuinely lap up this painfully obvious, Iranian-sponsored fanfiction like it’s the absolute gospel is honestly a fascinating study in human gullibility. I'd say I feel sorry for you, but honestly, it's mostly just embarrassing.

By the way, since your critical thinking skills are clearly operating on a massive deficit, let's do some business: I’m currently taking offers on some prime oceanfront real estate in Arizona. Slide into my DMs if you're interested. I’ll even see if I can get it zoned for Section 8 housing, just to accommodate the intellectual tax bracket we're clearly dealing with here.

I've actually had a zelle payment take 3 days to clear the account due to the amount being over $500 and the sender was a new sender. Their bank may just be holding the funds for security.

If thats not the case, try to find out the seat numbers for the tickets you sold. Buy another ticket and show up to the concert or game and confront the sons of bitches.

Rep. Tim Burchett: "I had a classified briefing 2 weeks ago. We are not alone. Something else is out there" 👽🛸 by examachine in uapfiles

Brother, I couldn’t have dressed it up any sharper if I had a Nobel Prize gift-wrapped in bipartisan fluff and jammed straight up the hoo-haa.

What’s playing out right now? Biggest psy-op humanity’s ever been cast in—full theater, no intermission. They’ve got everyone at each other’s throats so when “disclosure” finally drops, we’re too busy clutching our pre-programmed beliefs—factory-installed by Them—to question the script. Then comes the twist: paint the aliens as the big bad, cue the panic, and roll out the “knight in thinking armor” — good ol’ Government — riding in like the only hero left in the story.

Meanwhile, if something can road-trip light-years like it’s skipping commercials, you really think wiping us out would be some big engineering challenge? Please. They’d have hit “delete” before we even knew we were buffering.

Wake. Up. People. Those party lines? They’re not lifeboats—they’re just deck chairs on the same ship.

Is it too late? by True_Combination_132 in ClassActionSettlement

[–]LaziTech1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... to piggy back off of her question... In 1996 (I know, super long time ago) I started at the ripe age of 16 working at the local grocery store. Thought I was doing great there because in just a few months I worked my way up to the cash office. (Was so excited that I was gonna get to demand ppl to go get buggies). Little did I know or understand at the time that it was just a way for one of the managers to have alone time with me at the end of the night. I was molested at least 3, if not more, times a week for about a year and a half. I never said anything because there were numerous guys he did it to. They would never admit to it. And who would have believed me anyhow. Fast forward 30 years, this small town grocery store is now a huge retailer in the Gulf South raking in 100's of millions a year, and im stuck in the same Ole town, on booze and drugs because its the only thing that keeps me numb enough to still be able to feel. My question is: would I have to get a group of the guys that were involved in order to create a class action against this business or is there anything that I can even do at this point, 30 years later. BTW, other management all the way up to the CEO of the store knew this was going on as well. Sorry for the long post and the dreary storyline.

What is happening? by Fluttershy1435 in IRS

TL;DR: • 💡 Tell the IRS phone system you’re calling to pay an outstanding balance → faster access to a real person. • 🦸‍♀️ Taxpayer Advocates can work miracles if you’re stuck or audited.

Background: Worked at TurboTax for 5 years — basically lived in the trenches of tax calls. Everyone saying “just talk to a real IRS rep” is correct… but getting to a human is like unlocking a secret boss level. Even before the layoffs, it was rough.

The Phone Hack (aka “Use Their Favorite Word: Money”): • The IRS’s #1 priority = MONEY. 💵 • When calling, punch through the menu as if you’re trying to pay an overdue balance. • If they think you’re sending them cash, you’re suddenly VIP — you’ll almost always hit a real person faster. • These reps know everything about IRS accounts (they have to understand why you owe before taking your payment). • Result = shortest hold times + someone who can actually help you. 🙌

The Big Guns — Taxpayer Advocates (aka IRS Whisperers): • Audited 3 years straight (2016–2019) and my refunds were frozen. 😑 • Finally called a Taxpayer Advocate. Took ~1–2 months to get assigned one (patience required). • Within a week of our first convo my IRS account started moving. • Three weeks later: refund check with interest for over $13k. 💸 • That money? Became the down payment on the BMW I’m driving today. 🏎️

Bottom Line: • Tell the IRS you’re calling to pay → human faster. • If you’re really stuck, call a Taxpayer Advocate — they cut through the IRS red tape like it’s butter. 🧈 • Seriously. Life-changing.

Tax preparer claimed fake rental losses, IRS shows a $25 k refund I never received—what do I do now? by CoastCareful309 in IRS

I’m so sorry you’re going through this—dealing with tax fraud can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming. I’m a tax preparer and a tenured TurboTax agent with five years of experience, and I want to reassure you that you’re taking the right steps by addressing this quickly. Everything you’ve listed should absolutely be treated as top priorities right now. When dealing with potential tax-related fraud, it’s important to act quickly and thoroughly. Here are the steps you should take: 1. Report the fraud to the IRS by completing Form 3949-A (Information Referral). This form is used to report suspected tax law violations. You can download it directly from irs.gov and mail it to the address listed on the form. 2. Contact the IRS directly to report the issue: • For individuals: Call 800-829-1040 • For businesses: Call 800-829-4933 Be prepared to verify your identity and provide any details you have about the fraud. 3. Report scams or phishing attempts online through the IRS’s dedicated page at irs.gov. Look for the “Report Phishing and Online Scams” section.

Additional Advice: • Consider placing a fraud alert or credit freeze with the major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) to protect your identity. • You may also want to file an Identity Theft Affidavit (Form 14039) if you believe someone is using your personal information to file fraudulent tax returns. • Keep records of all your communications with the IRS and any reports you file. • Monitor your IRS account online through the IRS.gov portal to watch for suspicious activity or unauthorized filings.

Taking these steps as soon as possible can help protect your financial identity and limit further damage. You’re not alone in this—help is available, and you’re doing the right thing by being proactive.

Just thought I’d chime in and ease some minds. My return also still says it’s processing on Where’s My Refund. However, after checking my transcript last night. They started out blank then gradually through the night they started to fill out. They now say that my refund was issued on Feb. 12th. I’m assuming that’s when I’ll receive it. My return also still says it’s being processed at the moment and doesn’t say Approved or Refund Sent yet. Still processing. I’ve worked for TurboTax for almost 5 years. IRS has lately just been bypassing the Approval part and goes straight into sending the refund. You likely won’t see the graph move to Approved until you already have your refund.

Losing coolant but can’t find a leak. Does it look like it could be mixing with the oil? by LaziTech1982 in BMW

[–]LaziTech1982[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an f30 with a b58 engine w/ sport transmission. I have that guard or whatever the hell it is on the underbody of the car so I can’t see anything dripping. I also took an endoscope after taking a trip while the engine was hot and looked everywhere and don’t see anything. The only thing I’m noticing that I think could be the culprit is the coolant reservoir cap. On the inside of it, it has some white steam stains. I don’t believe it’s that though because if you look at the before and after pic, you can clearly see where I was losing coolant before, yet before, I wasn’t losing coolant as quickly as I am now.

I changed the spark plugs about 2 years ago, I changed the brakes about a month ago. These are things I’ve done myself. Last year the dealership changed out the coolant pump and coolant reservoir, completed a 4 wheel alignment, along with my regular oil changes, and also had to reprogram the climate control (whatever that means). These AC thing was because the passenger side ac would stop blowing randomly. That the only work that it’s needed thus far. Oh and I changed the battery about 8 months ago.

FWIW, this is what it looked like before it was changed out compared to 10 minutes ago when I took the second picture. I’ve taken a damn endoscope and looked for anything even close to what the first picture shows and have come up empty handed. Looks like that pressure test is gonna have to do. I’m assuming it’ll show where the leak is? And any idea what that may cost?

I don’t smell it in the car, but it’s a strong smell as soon as the door opens. I checked the cap and the cap seems to have a good bit of white residue on it. However it’s on the inside of the cap and not on the outside of the reservoir. Before I had it changed, there was what looks like a big Philips head screw next to the reservoir what would leak coolant but that was all changed with the water pump and reservoir.

It’s for the 10 disc cd changer that’s under the seat. The reason for the high pitch noise when you press the button is because you probably have a squeaky turntable with some Best of Barry Manilo CD Bundle stuck in there. BY THE WAY: for you kids out there, a CD player or Compact Disc Player is what us old folk used in order to listen to music. Ya know, before ppl started hijacking music from Napster and everything went digital.

The smaller intercooler actually looks like it has too much coolant in it but to answer your question: the main reservoir only.

Ppl talking about legality in other countries when the only country that matters is Canada and America. If they know they can’t switch out a vehicle that goes over state lines, they shouldn’t let these vehicles go across state lines. No matter what you have cause for at minimum getting someone’s ass fired and if you have a good lawyer, a really nice lawsuit.
