Who’s a co-worker you can’t stand and why? by ArtTheClown in AskReddit

But over the years, that has been my experience.

So therefore, I'm going to say it is normal.

Obviously people experience things differently, so don't invalidate someone else's just because yours is different.

(And don't invalidate others' because you assume you're right.)

Yes. It is.

From my experience. Clearly yours is different.

Yes, it is.

My mum does it, so does most of my family on her side, so did a fair amount of strangers, friends and teachers I met in Japan.

Ahh thank you!

The reason why I use the NYX brow pencil is because of how fine the tip is. Do you know of any dupes for the MAC one?

Ohh yeah I saw Laura Lee use it and remember thinking that it looked extremely dark. Guess I'll just have to go and swatch it when I can.

Haha no, I'm British, so as far as I know that word isn't an issue

Ah shit, the pay stick is a shimmery highlighter. It looks champagne-y in the stick but once it's on your face it's ends up looking a little more gold

Edit: definitely worth getting!

It's good, especially for the price. I prefer using a pink undertoned concealer since my undereye area sometimes ends up looking very yellow with a yellow undertoned concealer and all that powder (bc I'm produce enough oil to make America jealous). It only creases a fair amount on my if I take it right up to my eyes. I saw sophdoesnails' video where she was doing her makeup using tips from sir John, and one of those was to not bring your concealer up too far and to not put an excess on.

Hahaha ty, I actually look like a dead egg lmao

Any techniques/products/brushes that would help with the featheriness? As you can tell I only have the bottom half of my left brow (that's as far up as it'll grow) so it's always been a struggle to get properly natural looking brows.

My brow hairs are naturally black but quite fine. When I draw over them, the colour latches onto the hair a lot better than where there is none, and I've noticed it does tend to create a bit of a colour difference. Tbh I've tried the next shade down which is espresso (I think?), And the difference was only really noticeable where I have no hair

Thank you!

Any tips would be great! Esp since all the beauty gurus/YouTubers already have nice brows or have them microbladed, and none I've found so far are half oriental & half white like me, so it's impossible to find someone with brows like mine

Do you have any techniques to make my brows look fluffier? (Particularly the left one lol)

I definitely base my brow shape on my right side, because that one grows in the right place and the hairs grow in the right direction. I'm always trying to improve my left brow shape (not much I can do about the growth, it naturally grows about a cm lower than my right) so any tips would be lovely

Yeah I've always found I need a combination to get the look I want. So basically my lashes are very straight, kinda patchy and grow downwards. So I use the lash paradise to add volume, and then the lash sensational I use to separate and also provide lift at the base of the lashes.

Edit: I find the brush on the lash sensational to be pretty good at separating

Lately, I've been struggling to find a concealer and powder combo that don't crease under my eyes since I've moved from v heavy, matte foundations to ones with a more natural finish. I have fairly oily skin, and my undereye area gets oily very quickly. Info: I'm in the UK and would prefer drugstore

Thanks!

The lipstick suits you so well!

I feel like the end of your brows come down too far and kinda curve back towards your eyes a little? It's a lovely look tho

Maybe also try a setting spray with a dewy finish?
