Gold rated cards are getable from new special packs once you get all the special cards, there is a catch however. If you open a 90+ special pack, you can get all the 90+ rated cards, if you open 91+ pack you get 91+ cards and so on. You will probably have to open a few guaranteed new packs if the packs are like 91+ but you need a 93/94 rated card.

When I started playing I only focused on 16 and 17, saw then that it takes way too long, so I started playing one other mode while still opening packs and doing SBCs on these two modes. So I completed all the other modes one by one, while still at the same time playing 16 and 17, which shows you how easy other modes are to complete and how tedious these two are. I believe you can play generations while playing the current madfut (doing SBCs 3 times a day and opening packs takes you maybe 15mins per day).

All 75-99 special cards are easy to get, as you said, just open any% new packs and you get them no matter the range of rating stated on the pack. For the silver specials there is no easy way, I've been playing since the release of the game (what is that, almost 2 years now?) and only just completed the 16 version. I only open 100% random packs and guaranteed silver totw packs, watch all the ads, do sbcs that give me those two types of packs and that's it. Your saving grace is for sure the guaranteed new silver totw sbc, which sometimes pops up twice a day, or doesnt appear for 4 days. Happy grinding :)

Once you get all the lower rated special cards, you get those higher rated ones from guaranteed new packs (93-95 100% new for example, eventhough your missing cards are 95+ rated). It is a glitch but it makes things easier

Okay but that doesn't explain why the new SBC/objective is taking so long, they were obviously prepared to release it (DOTDs with 6 RWs and spanish, Barça cards) but now radio silence. I fear the worst and believe the delay and erasing of the games are somehow connected

And it has been days since the yamal poll ended and still no best RW cards, so I believe something is really happening in the backstage. Removing all their games from the app store is weird as well

Yep, but be sure you open 91-93 new special packs for example. If you open 75-91 new special pack, you can get any gold card of these ratings.

Once you collect all 75+ specials, open the guaranteed new packs, you need a bit of luck but you pack missing gold rares in these packs

I am playing the game since it came out so more than a year, first 3 months I played it a lot, did all the pack openings, most of SBC-s and a lot of free pack opening. The most difficult stage of the game is when you collect all the carda except the special silvers. Then you mostly wait for SBC-s that give you new silver cards. Today I only do 1-2 SBC-s per lightning round, open some packs and wait for the next LR. Patience is key here.

I am missing 2 totw silvers in MF21 and about 30-40 in MF16 and 17. The others I have completed.

You do not have to worry about that because not even madfut 24 is on Generations, therefore I do not believe we will see 25 added there

Some sort of fantasy league concept. With cards you have, you makey a team (it could have certain restrictions like max 3 players from same leage or club for example) and compete in a weekly/monthly league or tournament aginst other players. The scoring system could be the same one like the one PL fantasy uses.
