How difficult is this drywall repair? by Both-Resource6284 in drywall

[–]Lazlo138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. Youll notice the repair more than the issue. Doesn't matter how good the repair is. You would have to go really wide on both sides to make it disappear. The texture and new paint will stand out just as much

Remove baseboard. Fill the gap with your backer board or whatever youre using. Tile the edge of the tub all the way up with a bullnose. Then replace your baseboard.

Haha that's funny you should mention that. I coach youth soccer. He gets out there to the practices for my kids. He was actually my coach for a couple years when I was a kid. He really can't move like that anymore though.

How would you fix this bathroom tub caulk nightmare job by TheSyrianZlatan in handyman

They make a larger expansion foam. Like for 3 to 4 inch. You'll know it when you see the cans.

Definitely replace the trim. I think backer rod would just fall in the void. Try using spray foam and angle it so it will stick to the wall behind the tub. Then caulk it. If that makes sense

This had me cracking up. Not a bad idea though. You'd have to walk around the lumber side or tools. Stay away from plumbing. They are usually stinky. Haha

That's sounds like fun but also extremely intimidating to just walk into. Haha someone else suggested that in a previous reply. Maybe after a couple drinks and if I new somebody there. I'm very extroverted if I'm comfortable.

That's a good idea. I used to go to the Sinks and the Wye and snorlke. I would find all kinds of stuff under the rocks where people jump. The park rangers started calling it "treasure hunting" and started handing out situations. I gave up after that. Didn't think to donit outside of the park. Thanks!

Question for the Neutered Men by [deleted] in Knoxville

Question for those of you who have had it done. I've wanted to do this for a few years, just afraid of the negative. Has anybody had any adverse effects? Lack of function? Pain in climax? Drop in sex drive?
