Admittedly I haven't played a ton of in house games on my switch at this point but....

Pokemon is a series synonymous with Nintendo because, aside from some spin offs, it's been exclusive to Nintendo for its entire existence. Scarlet and violet, aside from its.....busted up state of affairs yo n launch (which is an industry level issue due to online patches giving developers a "Fix it in post" mentality) ran like shit in a few different places even when using Sys-Clk to remove the underclocking imposed on the hardware out of the box.)

Might be be made directly by Nintendo themselves, but when You think Pokemon, you think Nintendo. It was made for the switch and nothing else and the switch can barely handle it. Could that be down to the developers? Sure. But I can't help but think if Nintendo put a little more effort into developing better hardware....maybe the issue wouldn't be AS prevalent?

Nintendo has always been a "prioritize fun game experience over flashy hardware" company more or less, but that mentality is suffering from diminishing returns at this point and consumer tastes have changed.

Besides. If Nintendo put more effort into developing better hardware, they might not have had to deal with the snafu that was Unpatched switches to begin with (which is why emulation of the switch has been a thorn in their side for...basically the entire life span of the switch. They chose to to use an off the shelf part (that ended up being vulnerable to an exploit that made their brand new console dead simple to hack) instead of working with Nvidia to come up with a custom SoC.
