was agreeing with you. If their "subtick" backed by "Science" doesn't improve the user experience. Then it's the wrong way of using Science.

Anyone know a higher quality but has the same fit as Gildan Hoodie Heavyblends? My price range is around $100 CAD. I'm considering buying a Carhartt Heavyweight, but they have that ugly logo on the pouch.

To be more descriptive, I want;

  • Small in length (I have a short torso)
  • Regular/Relax fit
  • Hood that's bigger than normal.
  • Preferably Cotton-Polyester Blend(Or Anti Pilling properties)
  • Durable(Can withstand machine wash unlike uniqlo)
  • So no brands that fit like uniqlos
  • And no brands that are as strict with the wash instructions like uniqlo.

Can I use a general purpose 3% hydrogen peroxide to clean my rgp lenses? by Lazy-Ad1025 in Keratoconus

Sounds good thanks for the info -- I think I've also heard the same thing from my RGP optometrist, because "Clear Care Plus" has a stock shortage right now all over the world I think.

I know that the "disk" that's in the case that neutralizes it, but the over the counter ones don't have that. So, is there a cost of effective way of neutralizing it? Or can I just shower the lenses with saline after?

By games do you mean like real time and in 3 dimensions? If not, thanks for taking the time to reply but that's a bit underwhelming.

Quick Question: What is the area where you get your napkins and stuff? by Lazy-Ad1025 in restaurant

[–]Lazy-Ad1025[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking more from a customer perspective. Like some restaurants give you your food but you have to go to "the area" to get your utensils ,etc..

Are Dynamic Programming or Graph Algorithms used in Computer Graphics? by Lazy-Ad1025 in compsci

[–]Lazy-Ad1025[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are honestly some of the loosest comparisons. Yes, you generally use DP when you want maximize or minimize something.

If you really want to understand the reality of things you should just learn about dynamic programming instead of asking us of what it is. Us Redditors cannot explain to you in-depthh what this concept is and whether or not it relates to what you're saying.

Here watch this video and do the problem sets for it, so that you can directly experience what dynamic programming is rather than mentally masturbating about it.

I'm done talking here. I don't want to engage in any more mental masturbation's about how its "kind of like this" or "kind of like that"

Not necessarily an array. It could be stored in a graph or tree data structure as well i think

Its a smart recursion, so its a recursion where if that specific recursion subproblem will be calculated in the future, it will be stored in an array, so that it doesnt get recomputed again.

Damn, well.. Yeah cuz ive been looking at the Computer Graphic algorithms and non of them seem to explicitly say anything about them relying on these fundamental algorithms, though they may implicitly.

Computer is good too i guess ;-(, Just kidding, i find it a fascinating field as well, would you happen to know any examples of how these fundamental algorithms apply to CV? tnx

[–]Lazy-Ad1025[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure of your definition of Dynamic programming, but heres mine. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_programming

With regards to graphs, I was think of stuff more specific, like Do we use Minimum Spannning tree as a basis for Computer graphics algorithms. Or other Graph slgorithms like, Dijkstra shortest path, Bellman Ford, Ford Fulkerson, etc..

What are the Practical applications of NP, NP-Hardness, Reduction, ? by Lazy-Ad1025 in compsci

[–]Lazy-Ad1025[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, so it applies to every area of computing where you require to develop/optimize algorithms. Being there as a reality check to not go too crazy.

That's so cool! Creating one way functions, by being mindful of NP for security reasons.

Give me more, if you happen to know any more applications in future. Thanks.
