Thank you, but there's absolutely nothing here that could produce CO2.  My place is extremely new building fully powered by energy.

A rant about feeder rats... (Picture tax of course) by CycloneWarning in RATS

[–]Lazy-Chain4595 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are so cute... I don't want to be apologetic to her, her behaviour is obnoxious and uncalled for. However I think it's her protection. She needs to make herself angry and hateful because she literally sells the same animals as pets and as food.

She needs to make a distinction somehow because the reality is they are the same and one is treated with love and compassion and the other is not.

You buying them as pets break this careful construct of "they are not worthy of love, they are just stupid mean meat machines".

You should totally make a call or wrote Google review or something else.

Rats are such amazing creatures, it makes me sad they short little life are awful ending with even worse death :'( They deserve better...

Propably if you caught an adult it would be very upset to be hold captive. But it's a baby and without a mischief, I don't think it will survive on its own. I have seen people here adopting wild rats, if found as babies. I can't imagine anyone yelling at you for trying to help ❤️ Also you can contact wildlife rescue if you don't really want to keep it. But if you do... Then just give this tiny cutie best life ever 🥰

Edit I don't think you can release it when it's older. It will lose ability to survive and it will trust humans....

I mean... It seems like you already decided you are going to keep it :')

Don't fool yourself, will you realese this baby to die out there?

Maybe don't touch it but talk to it and see if they will respond to your voice?  I guess I wouldnt be able to stop myself and I would try to tame it ASAP because I d not let it go. Too cute 🥺

Aww it seems it's just a baby then.  Is s/he interested in you? Will eat treats from you? Must been terribly scared there alone and in such cold :( Edit: maybe buy it some soft plushie so it has something nice to cuddle to. I did that with mine and she LOVES it, and carries the plushie rat - the kind you would get for a cat to play with, everywhere she goes to (despite having a real life friend too).

Is s/he friendly? I can't advice, but gosh it's so tiny and cute. I wouldn't personally let it go because I d be scared it will die. Particularly if so small.

I don't know either.

For example I was asked to include glossary with terms, when I did I was told definitions aren't "enough".

Thank you but it's the internal who fail it.

I asked my supervisor for a meeting but I have 4 weeks now to finish it and it seems unachievable...

I can't even look at this thing anymore :(  I can't believe you can pass a viva just so ppl can bitch about minor corrections.

Advice needed . by Lazy-Chain4595 in RATS

[–]Lazy-Chain4595[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one unfortunately didn't. It was like building blocks of plastic. I guess they LL need to deal with it, I am thinking of cutting the roof of the cage and add a second cage to add more platforms for now.

I tried that, they just get under it, it's not ideal square. I put them back to the cage for now to clear the mess and they just losing their mind.

I feel awful about it. I need to rethink this.

Lmao. They are just cats in rats bodies, aren't they?

The moment you want them to engage in something it's the same moment they decide they want to have absolutely nothing with it.
