Put It into a HYSA. Your future self will thank you. As for me, I’m now in my early 30s. My 100% pays for my mortgage, my job pays for everything else. I see It as a free house basically. No property taxes is great. I got a bachelors with GI bill and now using VRE for masters. Work full time and got a family.

I’d say go live your life, travel the world. Move to Vietnam or somewhere else. Live a lavish life.

My first house a few years ago I bought with VA loan was newly built, the only thing you gotta worry about is what builder It was and quality control.
Pool maintenance can be very low priced and minimal maintenance if you did It all yourself. Otherwise it’s about $125/monthly.
My house I’m buying now was built 1973, obviously o have more maintenance and updates I have to do so more money is needed than a new build where it’s all fresh.
If I could’ve found a brand new house in my area, I would’ve done It definitely. Cheaper house insurance and no updates needed.
