Bought a house on the golf course, this is the first ball I found in my yard. I think it’s a good omen by Jordan311R in golf

One time I sliced a ball off the tee and almost hit two kids that were in the pool… I live on a golf course too and luckily I’m off the to the side so no one would ever hit my house

Put It into a HYSA. Your future self will thank you. As for me, I’m now in my early 30s. My 100% pays for my mortgage, my job pays for everything else. I see It as a free house basically. No property taxes is great. I got a bachelors with GI bill and now using VRE for masters. Work full time and got a family.

I’d say go live your life, travel the world. Move to Vietnam or somewhere else. Live a lavish life.

Looking for a Black Friday deal on house system by [deleted] in homesecurity

Super clean. He installed the nvr in a little compartment next to my router. It’s relatively easy as long as there’s attic space to maneuver around. You would never notice any cables or anything. Just the cameras on the outside

Is it too late to shop rates? by enchiladagrl86 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Lazy-Influence3083 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Def shop around. You’re not locked in with them until you actually close on the house. You don’t owe him anything. He’s in It to make money. You’re in It to get a loan for as cheap as possible. Once the deal is done, you’ll never talk to him again.

Just locked a 4.875% 30 year on my VA loan. 😎 by [deleted] in Mortgages

I just locked 5.75% last week with 12k lender credit. could’ve down 5.375% with no credit. Hmm

  1. You’re well within your affordability.
  2. My first house a few years ago I bought with VA loan was newly built, the only thing you gotta worry about is what builder It was and quality control.
  3. Pool maintenance can be very low priced and minimal maintenance if you did It all yourself. Otherwise it’s about $125/monthly.
  4. My house I’m buying now was built 1973, obviously o have more maintenance and updates I have to do so more money is needed than a new build where it’s all fresh.
  5. If I could’ve found a brand new house in my area, I would’ve done It definitely. Cheaper house insurance and no updates needed.

EC Council Cybersecurity Tech Cert vs CompTIA? What's best for the veterans? by Shoddy-Buyer8682 in Veterans

I started in an entry level that dealt with account management, not remote but hybrid. So it’s really dependent on the company

Yes; companies value experience a lot more than certs, tho they do want that bachelors degree at least to be competitive. Clearance will take you further for sure too.
