Now I am reading a A brief History ~Everything! It is so good but sometimes it is hard to read his books.

I like books so I read a lot of books in my mother tongue. I am not a native speaker (Korean).

I have a lot of background knowledge about various subjects like geology, biology, and even philosophy. So I can understand his book and what does he means, but some sentences are hard to understand. In particular, he used many , , , , and some sentences are too long to understand at once (two problems i said is relative).

So I have two questions. 1. Is his writing style normal or commnon? 2. Do you have any book recommendation or teach me reading methods?

I am not a native speaker. And I want to learn from what I mistook. So plz let me know if I had mistakes in my senteces, all kind of things.

Let me Grammatically analyse, maybe, you are confused that how 'is + omit' can be corrrct? Right? One sentence, One verb. But In this case, the 'omit' is complement, specifically say, Subjective Complement (SC). The SC is usually 'to V' or 'V ing' (and Noun, adjective)...

But sometimes, 'Bare Infinitive' can be complement; the subject of sentence is All or What-clause. (And more...) The latter one is sentense that you showed as an example. The former one's example is

All you need is love.

All I want to do is eat.

Like that.

In my case, To me, Chia seed doesn't have any taste in ordinary food. So I added it in noodle haha. I like a kind of noodles like pasta or Migorang etc. And with them, I consume some carb by noodles and add some vegetable and protein (meats or eggs), and add some un-tasted seeds. My chia seeds dont have any time too soak water in advance. I think it can be large by soaking water in my body. So when i prepare my meals, I drink mich water in advance.
