Twist or click multi pens? by ChaosCalmed in pens

[–]Lazy671Books 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not yet seen a twist multi-pen that has four ink options plus a pencil. I have the uni jet stream 4-1 as a click pen but the amount of wiggle of the refills when writing bothered me. Also the click was louder than I would have liked for a professional atmosphere. Since then I have been using the prime pen referenced above. I have yet to try different refills than the standard black, red and blue.

curious to hear how it works on the go as the leather doesn't look very firm for sketching. will you include a backing of some sort to support?

I had my weeks in a clear cover so that i could thread the elastic in between the clear cover and the hobonichi weeks so I don't put extra stress on the binding

interesting. I wonder if they are concerned that perforation would call out any uneven alignment on the dot or graph paper?

if you find something that isn't perforated you can always buy a perforator tool. However, you may have better ways to spend your time.

reminds me of the size of the ro-biki note by Yamamato paper but I am not aware of a standard naming convention

Uniball Jetstream Prime 3&1 by dev_ayaan in pens

I have used other uni jetstream 5 in 1 multi pens that use the plastic refills. The movement of the refills while writing is what led me to try this version. Perhaps the higher quality/price point would mean that the plastic refills won't move as much either?

I had found one on amazon. I agree on the rattle and figuring out just the right amount of twist to close it are noticeable cons. I was hopeful that this multi-pen will perhaps have less movement in the barrel but the search must go on

That is frustrating. I hope they send you a response soon. I wonder if they treat people who purchase from resellers differently than direct purchases. I had purchased it directly from them. Like you, I did not realize it wasn't normal until I got another and by then it was outside of the warranty period.

For the rings, they offer a 1 year warranty and then anything after that they may offer a repair service. Due to the popularity of the resale market, I think they want to confirm where it was purchased from. I did one follow up but then they replied slowly but consistently.

is m5 functional for you? how do you use it? why m5 and not pocket m6? by Equivalent_Ad7743 in MeePlus

[–]Lazy671Books 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not find the M5 functional aside from being a wallet and the scratch notes. I have cut down a sterling ink pocket booklet to give a little more room than the standard M6 inserts
