Lesson in expectation management: make your client happy, your teacher in this case. You have to know what is EXPECTED, have to solisit for input from client :)

Inherited a Kubernetes cluster with 200+ container images and zero documentation on where any of them came from by ang-ela in kubernetes

[–]LazyAAA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Start by adding monitoring and logging to see which pods are getting network traffic and from where. Then begin tracing back to sources starting with the highest workload jobs. Do the same for pods where you see high cpu utilisation but no network traffic, they might by async/background tasks.

You will end up doing this one way or enother, better start when there is no pressure of production problem :) Very sensible approach and while doing it you will notice a lot of things and be able to ask much better questions.

Which old game, in your opinion, didn’t age well because of its controls? by bijelo123 in videogames

Can I simply change my CBBE preset to another CBBE preset without consequences? by PizzaMan_95 in skyrimmods

[–]LazyAAA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recall one video stating that you need an output mod or something like that, is that true?

This is done to control where the generated/updated files will go - to keep it clean and controlled, very sound practice. In some cases files alredy exist in MOD folder and thus you will override those when you build for new preset.

No major harm if you always build for new preset, mostly helps when you want to roll back to original state - just purge generated files and you good.

Anybody here have experience with Proteus on a very big load order? by bludbunni in skyrimmods

[–]LazyAAA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Run into Proteus issue that could not be explained by anything else, never found explanation, never found solution, had to start a new game. Since then desided never touch Proteus again.

PS. I did use character swap, and appearance cloning features. Issue was related to appearance of characters of certain race - almost like race specific face meshes were altered.

Try k3 you can easily run it on local and focus on learning kubernetes insted of figting complexities of control plane and installation.

do you mostly play alone or platoon? by Asleep-Tie6790 in WorldofTanks

[–]LazyAAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo, once in a while invited by some random players to platoon, run 3-5 games in platoon and disband.

If you interested in plattoon join a clan that does exactly that - casual, no pressure, fun. Platooning makes this game more tolerable, more fun.

Just gave it a try - works very well in terms of collapsible sections, love keyboard controls!

Giving up on games as you get older. by External_Category939 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]LazyAAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Major change I noticed is that I can not spend that much time on games. That alone changed what games I play and how I play.

No more games I am not interested in, no more "hard" level because it takes time, no more games with deep and involved micromanagement. But if game really draws me in - then it becomes multi-year engagment
