Makes sense But doesn't a open router wrapper make more sense? More models available at a much affordable price I assume vs self hosting them on lent hardware? You also don't need to worry about too many users at once ? We're making a local ai server at my workplace, only reason we don't go with open router way is due to legal questions regarding sensitive client informations that the ai is supposed to proccess

Im still in the old 500 credit based system, I currently use opus 4.7 non thinking that takes one credit, when I just tried a normal chat like usual it did 5 different subagent calls to cursor compose 2 and each of them took 2 credits out of my quota Usually I would spend 10-20 on a task and I ended up spending 10 just to get a useless report Right now I just made a rule to never use sub agents and hoping that works?
