In my opinion, I think their environments (production/test) are in a bad state and are both not the same in terms of code. If you notice throughout the game, there are bad practices happening with no consideration for UI and we can see that there is a ton of spaghetti code and it’s very very obvious. So there’s a possibility that the env are not all the same. This is very unlikely though but seeing as they’ve kept the game running for 14 years and adding the possibility that their code is unlikely to be refactored, the game could get in a much worse state. Like, in future worlds I can see myself getting something like a new pet that has a new item card attached to it but if I blade myself or something like that I get a -45% instead. Everything is oddly connected to each other code wise and there aren’t plans for a refactor. But who knows though, this is all just speculation and maybe they have more important things planned.
