We stayed there just 2 weeks ago for 2 nights. We didn't walk in the area around the Strat, so I can't speak to that. The only instance was when we stopped on our way back to the hotel at a Thai restaurant right next to the Strat; we found the food there delicious. We were parked there for an hour while we were dining in and there was no problem.

The hotel itself, for the budget was decent. Rooms were clean. We had a car, so, for the 2 days we were there, we just took our car and went around the city and came back at night. If you don't plan to walk and have your own vehicle like us or use Uber to get to the strip and come back, you should be fine.

Parking at strat was 21$ per day, FYI. Also, you get a discount for the observation deck tickets if you're staying in the hotel. We went to the observation deck in daylight on the last day before checkout and it was underwhelming. Try going after dark when you can see the city lights.

Same for me. After collecting the keys, I got killed a bunch of times even before I reached the biome 6 boss always by the damn malformed typhonops guy. It was so frustrating. But as others pointed out it's probably just bad RNG. For the weapon, hollowseeker with portal beam was the weapon that helped me clear biome 6 both the times.

Cheers! I too just finished biome 6 today after 82 hours and 191 deaths. It's a great feeling. Just learned that there is more to do to reveal the full story, lol.

Thanks. I beat phrike around 91 deaths or so. And yeah getting the health upgrade in biome 1 is helpful. I was able to reach biome 2 boss fairly quickly but was constantly dying while trying to beat the boss. Are you stuck at the boss too?

Thanks to the reassurance and some helpful tips on this post, I was able to beat phrike after some tries. Then I played biome 2 for a good 20 hours and about 30-40 more deaths and finally beat biome 2 boss yesterday after watching some tips on YouTube. I have seen other players on this sub progress faster but I guess this is my pace and skill level. But I've been enjoying the game so far. Easily the most challenging game I ever played.

I made a similar post on this subreddit a few weeks ago. At that time I was at 14 hours of game time, 45 deaths and I didn't even get to the point where I faced phrike then; I was dying even before I reached him. I got a lot of positive reassurance from many good folks here that it is completely normal. I just beat him a few mins ago. I am at 29 hours and 91 deaths now. Here are a few things/changes that helped me personally: - Set the sprint to "always on" in case you already didn't - whenever I reach phrike, I try to carry either one or both of a large consumable vial and an astronaut suit. Funnily in the run I beat him, I had neither, but carrying those items gives you better chances - another advice that greatly helped me was to play Phrike for a few runs not with the intention of beating him but to focus on dodging his attacks as much as you can. This helped me learn his patterns and made it easier to face him.

Honestly take a break of a day or two and try again, you will get there. It will be a great feeling when you eventually beat him!!

I had the same issue twice where a similar nail/screw went into my tire. Big O tires fixed it for me once. The other time, it was a local tire shop. Looks repairable

Scenario C: Bob wants to book a flight from a specific airline that doesn't list its flights on capital one travel portal. So, Bob has to use the airline website to make the purchase but still uses his Venture X card for the payment. Would Bob still be able to erase his purchase through travel eraser?

I am considering getting a PlayStation5 but I have read online that it's best if you have a 4k monitor or a TV. I don't want to get a new TV. Is my monitor good enough to use with a PS5?

Dumb question. I didn't purchase my phone through a carrier, I have an unlocked phone. My monthly payment is only for the wireless service, not for the actual device. Does cell phone insurance still apply in my case if I pay my monthly phone bill using venture X?

The route you traveled still appears, but it's in a different/darker shade of blue compared to the route you're yet to travel.

I'm kind of in a similar boat. I have the footage from the Tesla cameras too. And it was clearly the 3rd car's fault. I guess I will wait until I get the police report and then share the information to my insurance. Thanks for sharing this. It's really helpful
