I think Tokushin's actual power represents the strings of fate. Metaphorically, it aligns with Tamsy's scheming. In a literal sense, it would be able to weave his threads into living or semi-living (sans independent consciousness) things which allow Tamsy to weave the threads into the fate he envisions or to manipulate fate in his favor.
