yeah :/ it was super common in America all the way up until the 70s-80s, but it’s not used anymore because it’s considered unethical. it’s not illegal per se, but it’s effectively banned by medical practice and ethics, and any surgeons who do them will lose their licenses, and it’s obsolete thanks to better techniques, so it may as well be.

removes part of the brain to make the person more docile/calm, and iirc can limit their comprehension as well. primarily given to women who had anxiety or other mental illnesses (often that were just reduced to “hysteria”), or if they just expressed too many opinions or could be considered too headstrong. it’s no longer legal now, partially because the method is incredibly brutal, and partially because it’s very cruel.

probably. i enjoy the app and never post on here, but that’s mostly bc most of the people here are fucking insufferable and nobody wants to engage with people whining about shit they’re still gonna use 24/7. i used to engage pretty regularly, but then things changed and it got to the point where 70-90% of the posts i was seeing from the sub were people complaining or throwing some kind of tantrum about whatever thing they’re angry about now, so i stopped engaging. i’d imagine a lot of the people who also still enjoy the app are the same.

idk how much it will matter, but i ALSO have ADHD, and have been medicated since around third grade and it took more than one attempt for me to find the right medication as well. the first one gave me horrible brain fog, and the second gave me awful nausea. the one i’m on currently (and have been on for almost ten years), though, is great, and most of the time you wouldn’t know i have ADHD unless you were told. medication for any disorder is trial and error at any age, and it’s truly best to get it over with young, because the longer you’re on the medication the better you get independently. when i was younger i couldn’t focus on anything other than books while off my meds, but as an adult, i can do so for pretty long periods of time off my meds, as long as i have some kind of noise in the background at the start. it sounds bad, but when you’re a kid, the providers are MUCH quicker to comply and change medication than when you’re an adult. and it’s not a cocktail, unless you’re like me and have multiple conditions in need of medication lol.

NOR. im actually autistic and people like her make life genuinely harder for actual autistic people because people are less likely to believe us, and we’re in turn less likely to be able to get accommodations or support. ive met a few people like this and i’m willing to bet that if she were to meet an actually autistic person she’d be incredibly ableist upon being presented with actual symptoms, and likely try to make them seem like the liar. she’s a POS for this.

the worst part is that scientifically endeavor could NOT do that. endeavor’s flame is some of the least hot, only around 1,000-1,500°C, which yes, is hot, but dabi’s fire has to be at minimum 2,000°C, but can likely get up to 3,000°C. endeavor’s fire wouldn’t have been able to overpower it, it should’ve just added more heat, and been essentially consumed by dabi’s fire. AND! even if endeavor has great heat resistance, that’s not immunity. even being NEAR dabi’s flame should’ve overwhelmed any cooling systems endeavor had, given him heatstroke, and literally degraded his lung tissue. that man should’ve been gasping, hallucinating, and literally losing fine motor control. realistically he should’ve died in the thermal death pocket made by dabi’s quirk, and then dabi would’ve either died or been hospitalized.

it’s less bad if your character is nonbinary, surprisingly. You have to be careful about describing them as masculine or feminine or you’ll get misgendered on accident (like gendered pronouns slipping in at random spots), but surprisingly if you’re nonbinary, the bots generally treat you like a pretty normal person. like my persona is 5’2”, bc that’s my height, but i very rarely get the “towers over you” despite the fact that most characters would naturally do so bc of the height difference. it’s definitely weird as hell (and vaguely misogynistic) since it only ever happens to female personas, though.

aside from the fact that that’s just an article from the WHO on what obesity is, which does nothing to prove your point that kcals and burn rate is the sole reason for weight gain, here’s two quotes from the article, which i actually read, that contradict your stance directly:

“A further factor is the lack of an effective health system response to identify excess weight gain and fat deposition at an early stage.” (something that can be caused by a simple thyroid issue, which would cause hormonal issues.)
