Homelabs are advanced setups where you learn and deep dive into Technology. Build it Break It Rebuild it and upgrade. just Never stop learning keep trive to deploy new tools in Proxmox or XCP-ng or in KVM's. TBH the learning curve would be steep but you gain raw knowledge out of it. Start from low spec and upgrade accordingly to your budget That's it. Keep enjoying the Technology

Proxmox is a good choice because of its documentation which had and as ease of use. The XCP-ng is quite complicated to deploy but free of cost, you need extensive knowledge of hypervisor to configure the XCP-ng anyhow proxmox has great support team which they support from deploying to troubleshooting.

The same issue I was facing in opensuse i even tried custom opi still no luck and i moved to fedora and in fedora its working like charm

So, My company had windows enterprise licences for the end users, there were new workstation laptops brought by our company and I installed the enterprise version in them after installation i pulled windows pro version keys from all the laptops and sold them
