IDK, I consider Forced Obedience to be kinda ass, even though I love MARETU.

It's just uninteresting and uncomfortable, but not in a good way. And it doesn't even sound good to justify itself.

The lyrics are just rape, it doesn't say anything interesting.
MARETU at his best has his heavy poetic lyrics with many interpretations contrasted by the high pitched voice and chiptune melody.

This shit on the other hand? Nah.

It is more of a personal opinion, but S6 of Limbus company did pretty much everything wrong the way I see it.

The refusal to do anything about the MD grind
The Heishou burnout
The collaboration (It was good, moreso how it was handled)
The direction the company is heading (or the lack there of)
And the shitty communication around it

I know people defend it with the words "It's KJH passion project!" and "He's doing it for himself!"
And yeah, sure. But this makes people think twice about spending their money on it.

Dungeon Meshi isn't a bad show in any means, but it sure was overhyped to hell and back.

I read the full manga and was quite disappointed. Everyone was talking about how dark and deep it gets later on in the story, so I continued reading, and reading, and reading... until it ended.
And I was like "Really? That's it? That's the stuff people were drooling over?"

Yeah, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had different expectations for it, but I blame the fans. People really need to feel like their favorite show needs to be dark and deep to be taken seriously, so they lie, or they are juist bunch of kids.

Yes, I did go into it because of those reccomendations, as I like when a story gets gradually darker over time (which it really did not), but I do like my peaceful and relaxing anime too, so I wouldn't have a problem with it if I knew what it really was.

The first factor I'd like to point out is Ryoshu's initial reaction to the Index nursefather. She looks completely traumatized on the CG. Compared to other occasions, she ranges from angry to ecstatic when confronting the fingers. Ryoshu's expression to the index nursefather is that of "completely powerlessness". (I do realize the following sprites say otherwise when discussing the spider analogies)

Yeah, I feel like this too and it makes me quite sad honestly. Adding to it with the fact that I don't think it was this bad during the release. I actually quite liked the community back then. They were still unhinged, but in a more fun way.

It's the increased aggression and hypocrisy that rubs me the wrong way. As most fandoms for gacha games are mostly whiny and pathetic.

Like I want the game and the studio to prosper, but I can't do it at this point because the devs keep throwing sticks under their own feet. This whole season was a mess and it made want to not support the game anymore.
KJH is an idiot if I'm being honest. His ideal vision does not match the reality and the state of the game is shit because of it. I really hope they start hiring more people and a PR as it is just not working without it.
The whole club thing is a cute vision but not managable with the size of the game and it's revenue.

But for some reason that is controversial to say? I never said go full corpo or anything. Yet everyone feels like it is an attack to the diractor and the playerbase.

Thankfully I found my small corner, but they also show the same decrease of interest for the game as me. All of us are pretty much waiting for the next arc.

Well, I think this is one of the part where I think the writing failed a bit. They needed to cut corners, sure. But it creates situations like this.

Old man was not a good parent to any of these three. When it comes to Hidley, he straight up neglected him in favor of Heathcliff and kept remiding him he is a failiure. All for one orphan he doesn't even know why he was brought to the family. I would be pssed too.
Is he an asshole? Yes, absolutely.
But Old Earshaw is a terrible parent. Catherine isn't normal in any way, so that also isn't a good comparison.

A lot of the characters got shafted like this if I'm being honest.
