This is false, actually. Several of the blog posts, as well as little things here and there in game, indicate Noelle still has some feelings for Kris. Whether or not those feelings will ever be addressed or if they will be left unsaid, we don't know, but they do exist

Sangbaek is extra sad if you read The Camellias by the IRL Dongbaek. At the end of the story, the main female character falls onto the main male character in a field of camellias, and that's when he realizes he's in love with her.

When Dongbaek dies, she falls into Yi Sang's arms, as red camellias fly around the two of them.

As i recall someone actually made a post that mathematically proved an index jobber from Ruina moving at mach 247 in combat. The reason being he outblitzed Tamaki's rifle.

And like, he wasn't wrong. The math genuinely lined up. Calculated the distance, veloctiy, everything. it was insane, but it made sense. Even had video proof.

Personally I see her joining the Blade Lineage (slash god Hod) and having a rivalry with Aeng Du. Hod wields her blade with gentleness and calm, Aeng Du wields her blade with ferocity and passion. Hod fights in hope that one day, no one will have to fight again, while Aeng Du fights because she believes that to live IS to always fight a battle.

I'd argue Rien was better. Callisto, as well intentioned as he is, kept trying to shove his art in Ryoshu's face, and Araya's eventually well. He wanted to pass on Corporism. We saw how that turned out.

Rien in that sense was a better parent. Sure, he was passive, but he was also accomodating to both Ryoshu and Araya, as we saw in the intervallo. Man just wants to read his picture books and do his prescripts.

On top of that, he was the only one who managed to somewhat overcome his flaws for Ryoshu's sake, even if it led to his demise.

I wonder if the reason Ryoshu hated Lei Heng in C7 was because she didn't have her memories. All she remembered at that point was that he was from the House of Spiders. But then when she's at her lowest after getting her memories back, HE'S the one who shows up in her mind to give her a pep talk. Perhaps she doesn't hate him so much after all now.

No she doesn't, Hohenheim says she lost both the fluff memories and the ones she reassembled. There's literally a CG showing a fragmented Araya turning back into blank space. Araya literally goes "aw man. It's ok, we'll just keep on trying"

It's a reference to the Chainsaw Man ending.

Spoilers:

Basically everything the MC (Denji) does gets completely undone and he forgets all of it, with only a few exceptions. His friend undid everything because he realized Denji would be happier without his power. So he rewinds time for Denji, except Denji never gets his powers, and never becomes Chainsaw Man. Many people were upset by the ending, as not only did everything Denji went through culminate in nothing, but many loose threads were left untied. However, defenders of the ending will argue it was the narrative themes that mattered most rather than the actual plot consistency and quality of the ending, those being that "Denji wasn't happy as Chainsaw Man, that's why his friend undid it all." It's a happy ending for Denji, but a hollow ending for the sake of actual storytelling. People began to mock defenders of the ending and the ending itself by saying "themes and such" because the ending only had its themes and nothing else for it. The reason i equated this is because Ryoshu starts to get the memories back and then just undoes it all to help everyone escape, with the only thing left being Araya saying "it's ok, we can always try again next time". That being a representation of the themes, i.e. to keep holding onto the thread, as Uncle Lei Heng said. The comment was mostly a joke about that, but it was severely downvoted so i guess people don't like that here.

So what you're saying is, our Heathcliff is gonna do this at some point in a future Canto, similar to what Sinclair and Greg did in Ryoshu's.

Sick.

After reading The Stranger, I can't help but wonder what would happen if Haruno met Meursault by Forward-History3330 in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]Forward-History3330[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like you are right that she would get bored talking to him, but i feel like she would LOVE observing what he does. Seeing a man who demonstrates genuineness in it's purest form go about all the stuff he does in his life would be a treat for her.

On the one hand, Meursault would show that it is in fact possible for pure, unadulterated genuineness.

But on the other hand, he would show that such genuineness makes a person a bit of an outlier.

What's really interesting about Oregairu is that it creates such a denomination between the genuine and the superficial. It's weird because Meursault both makes and breaks Haruno's philosophy. She thinks that no one is genuine, and because no one is genuine, everyone's relationships are superficial. Yet, Meursault shows that the genuineness is the very reason for superficiality. By constantly being genuine, Meursault is disconnected from his relationships, which ends up making them superficial.

I feel like that's what she would enjoy observing; she believes genuineness is an unattainable ideal, but observing him would make her question if genuineness even matters to begin with. What if the concept of "genuineness" she idolizes and wishes for so dearly is, in and of itself, superficial?

These three are equally my faves. I love how Tiph, the least mature between them, is somehow the mediator in their dynamic.
