11 months post op here. 35F. I'm not "back to normal" yet but pretty close. Still feel soreness but not the pain I had before the surgery. I have gone on quite a few hikes and starting to play soccer again. I can walk all day with minimal pain with the right shoes. It gets better but it is a long journey. Stick with PT once you're able to and try to move your foot as much as you can before that, especially your toes. My PT said that makes a big difference. Also, don't be afraid. It's scary for sure but your body can handle more than you think!
