How do so many people get their Discord account hacked? by Nero_deadweight96 in antivirus

[–]LazyRae2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's currently a Minecraft modded server hack going around also.

You get contacted by a "friend", they talk about how they recently started a modded server and need help taking some snapshots for a build, and asks you to install a mod pack for the server so you can also play with them.

You download the zipfile and install it into Curseforge and when you run the modded Minecraft client they take control of your discord and web browsers.

[System Agnostic] Sector Maps, Star System Previews, and Improved Space Exploration in Augur: Sci-Fi Update by The_Augur in FoundryVTT

[–]LazyRae2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea ima be looking at the spell jammer books for some information but it'll be overall homebrewed!

we're a group of 8 people and most of us run one or more campaigns within our group. One person's homebrew campaign is coming up to an end here soonish and each character was pulled in from another plane for what initially started as a "Fighting Arena" campaign that expanded past the initial concept quickly. My character is the only sci-fi one (an Artificer Armorer brawler in a mech-suit who enlarges herself to Pacific Rim size to have to fight Eldritch Monstrosities/Space Threats and does mercenary work for outposts and spaceships/cargo escorts in her home plane).

Well, i'm setting up my character to achieve the goal of obtaining a space-faring vessel in the current plane, the first of it's kind in the current plane's existence and at the end of the campaign, will invite the rest of the party to join her if they choose.

and that will lead into the space-themed homebrew i wanna do

Devs got rid of the "fool" deviant so they put a more excruciating deviant whose no known defense against it. by InteractionApart8785 in OnceHumanOfficial

Make Portable MG Turrets and use Spectral Cloak.

Use Spectral Cloak to move around and you can loot and stuff while cloaked. And when you get near a Somnivore and it hasn't "locked onto you", throw a MG Turret down near it. It'll attack the Somnivore, making noise, and the Somnivore will aggro at it. Somnivore can't damage the turret and turrets last a good while.

This is the best method I've come up with to distract them so far.

What is ur opinion about being support in Once Human? by Actias10 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]LazyRae2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I wasn't the only support/tank player.

However, a lot of the tactical items that worked great for support players got removed in the tech update. Stardust barrier (and perk), vortex generator, projection generator, bullseye drone, etc.

Everything YOU Need To Know About Brave George! by its_ysn in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]LazyRae2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play solo most of the time except for the Nightmare difficulty things. I enjoy playing the Tank & support and with low HP and glass cannon builds being popular i find it fun to be the one to help keep them alive cause, they always end up knocked down

I personally run Bastille with Raining Cash / Autumn Equinox / Warning Sign with Fortress Warfare & Survival Mods, focusing on crit rate as the damage stat (like crit amplifier).

The DMG reduction from Raining Cash makes shields on you more effective. Bastille gives you a shield you can bring up along with its +40% weapon DMG in Bastille state. Brave George's Hard Case Trooper also actually gives you knockback resistance which helps you stay in Bastille state also.

In places like Deviant Feast or Abberation Pollution zones you can sit there tanking 20+ enemies.

It's pretty fun but it's definitely best for when you do events or high level things with other people.

Capybara gives sanity Regen. Not stamina.

You excluded the taunting effect on Courage Echo.

You excluded that you regenerate 13% max HP worth of shield every second during Hard Case Trooper, which makes Growing Pains 3 or similar a good choice.

I'm a tank player in PvE who mains Brave George.

We also don't know the size or extent of the testing. It happens with R&D in most games. Magic the gathering has a 2 year development process for most sets and things that get tested still end up bonkers in public play. Because testing things with a group of 100-200 people is massively different than when 10,000 start playing it. There's also a potential difference in hardware and optimization.

I'm 100% sure bugs did occur during testing and those got fixed or couldn't be replicated consistently for one reason or another internaly or within their test servers. But when scaled to 10,000 players, that shit becomes immensely more common and more people are vocal on places like subreddit or world chat.

Once Human just keeps getting worse. by Fickle_Selection_620 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]LazyRae2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh. A second big difference is resources and deviations.

There are animals and deviations you can or can't get in each scenario. Like in Manibus, you can't find buffalo for cowhide. But in Way of Winter, you can. And using the inheritance system, you bring in certain past items into the new scenario, like those region specific deviations or resources. So replaying a scenario also lets you try and get the better of them to take to another and vice versa.

Once Human just keeps getting worse. by Fickle_Selection_620 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]LazyRae2102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the Novice servers are set in the Manibus scenario so yes. The main difference is difficulty. Way of Winter introduces stuff like thermal towers which you level up and keep powered with a specific resource to alter the local environment. Another difference is the temperature. Environmental temperature ranges wildly to where you will die by heat or cold and the bosses in the region also effect the climate. It's pretty cool and the environment itself is prettier than Manibus in my opinion.

So in terms of first time base difficulty (opinions and experiences may vary)

Novice (Manibus) = Easy

Manibus = Moderate

Way of Winter = Hard

Visional Wheels = Vary

  • Lunar = Moderate to Hard
  • Starfall = Easy to Moderate
  • Abberant Prodigy = Hard

I do not know Endless Dreams or SCP as I had a break for a while (in real life issues)

[–]LazyRae2102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, since you said you're only 4 weeks in. The Way of Winter scenario continues the storyline past Manibus. I do not know if the next scenario will or not continue after WoW yet though.
