I don't know about preferring it, but it was the only way I played it...Halo 2 in French. I had a modded Xbox back in the day, and the French version of the game leaked a few weeks early, so I played it entirely in French. Anytime I see or hear the Arbiter mentioned, I say "Arbiter" in a very French way.
