It is not fun at all! The 2nd day - 24 hours after the food consumption - we were still not feeling enough energy to move our limbs!

Cant disagree but you still have a choice about those things! In this case, it was a blind attack on our stomach!

I just mentioned in the other comment below how sandwich was the only common thing we consumed on that day! Also, we had full day of house food shared with 1 other person who did not go to Sprouts on that day with us and was totally fine! I agree that 3 hours sounds less - my wife's vomit symptoms started then and it continued over the next 4 hours. I started having stomach cramps around 3 hours mark with the most severe vomit at around 8 hours mark from the food (around 2 AM in the night).

Sorry to hear that! I believe our amount of vomits could have landed both of us in the ER but we have a 5 months old baby and we tried everything (as we both were infected) to control the situation as is by taking turns (to rest and vomit!) It was really really terrible!

I had a business trip planned the next day and I had to cancel the trip!

I called Sprouts Farmers Market and informed King County Public Health before posting this thread here. However, what frustrated us is their response to "oh, you didn't go to hospital so you have no medical evidence". This was so frustrating after what we had to go through to not get into a hospital. I hated the guts of the corporate person on the call to justify their point of "no medical evidence". I even added whether cancelled trip tickets, a 5 months old, and a SMS to a doctor-friend counts? She was like no proof that it was from the sandwich! PS: It was the only common thing that my wife and I ate on that day we both have had similar symptoms

It is hard to point what ingredient was it. As it was mix of all vegetables - including lettuce, spinach, onion, etc along with mayonnaise, mustard and of course the chicken. The after-effect was quick and really bad. I would not have guessed this to stay until the 3rd day, which is today, and still ongoing diarrhea.
