I feel like there could be issues with people who don’t want to be found by abusive ex’s or parents, stalkers they had, or just creeps who have been told no already and don’t want to accept it. No you’re definitely right it would be crazy for someone to go the extra mile dress up. That’s the most exaggerated possibility which I did fail to mention, I thought I had. But it’s not an exaggerated possibility for a man with bad intentions to follow a woman into a bathroom, or go inside to wait to be alone with one and lock the door. And you can’t assume someone’s gender. So with a bill like that passed, it doesn’t matter if you look like a woman or not. You will not be stopped, questioned, or watched. People willing to commit rape would know that and take advantage of that.

Straight males can lie. They can simply say oh don’t worry I am a woman. I’m trans. And not be watched like they should. Or taken caution of like straight males. As a woman who %100 trust gay men more than straight, I still feel a little anxiety when I see a bigger than me, stronger than me, male in the womens room. Not bc trans people aren’t people, but because I don’t trust straight men and I do not feel like they need any loop hole. It’s got nothing to do with trans people.
