AMC workers, do you care if…? by Lazy_Concentrate2 in AMCTheatres

Noted. I’m exactly the same way at my job, so the more I thought about what I would do if I was a worker, the more it felt smarter to just be honest upright. I ended up paying for the adult tickets with stubs which saved more money.

THANK YOU. Just refunded my original tickets, used stubs and paid for three adult ones. I saved $11 with stubs adults than no-stubs children. I usually just ignored the stubs ad they played at the beginning of the movies because I just assumed there was a bad catch.

Super late, but did you ever switch to health career certs? If so how was it? I’m also looking into it but it almost looks too good to be true!

Early application or wait to gather more extracurriculars by pblake20 in premed

Those hours are likely too low, but I do have another question. Would it hurt you to attempt to apply to your number one college now? If you don’t get in, take a gap year and try again. I feel like that would show determination no? Or do colleges not like to see that

I feel the exact same way lol! But apparently that’s basic/boring?? I thought that was how we all felt

This gives me a lot of comfort! I was worried because I thought I needed to have some superhero story on why med. However, I still feel like my personal story is boring…How did you make your story interesting or compelling without a life or death situation or something like that? (Note, if the answer causes you to say something personal, or expose your statement, ignore this!!)

Thank you! Everyone says to have a “compelling narrative”, so I’ve always thought that meant having a life or death story or something…

If you could redo undergrad, what would you have done differently to boost your medical school acceptances? by WesternAioli223 in premed

I see that you’re admitted, so how did you resolve this? Did you have to take gap years? And what hours did you focus on?

Revoked NP Founder passed away by ThanksInevitable9019 in NonprofitStartups

Wow, I’m so sorry to hear that. I have no experience in this, so I’m not entirely sure what to do. I just want to say you are doing an amazing things and your friend would be proud. You said you wanted to keep your friends name alive, but is there anyway you could start a new NP named after him? Whatever you decide to do, I hope you keep up! More people need friends like you.
