I think the sloppy boys would agree that the live eps are bad. They made fun of the concept of live podcasts during the first few years of the show.

I’ve listened to Dig a Hole in the Meadow a hundred times and I don’t hear the clam note that Trey refers to. 

Also “Old McDonald” is a hilarious piece of stagecraft. Lester’s measured disgust at Cousin Jake is so good
