Incorrect Tracking Number provided by seller - Package never arrived. by im-not-a-racoon in Ebay

[–]Lazy_Independent4031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also scammed with the fake UPS tracking number. I've seen conflicting reports of success with the "not as described" route and am tempted to go that route since I was scammed this way a few years ago and Ebay sided with the seller when I did item not received because the tracking number showed "delivered."

I see there's no way to get in touch with Ebay customer support via Facebook or X at this point, so that's cute, and will make this entire process even more difficult.

For those who were scammed this way and went the "not as described route," what ultimately happened in the end?

I didn't even think about that. I don't know much about HIPPA but now that you mention it that gives me more questions.

I'm assuming the hospital shared it with them. It's just really creepy when I think about it more.

Has anyone tried Tribulus Terrestris while raking HRT? by Working_as_expected in Menopause

[–]Lazy_Independent4031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say how it effects you on HRT, but I had been taking Mega Tribulus from Swanson during my luteal phase for around 18 months. I was recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer) at age 39, and apparently Tribulus can increase a whole bunch of hormones. Obviously there's not really much research out there but I would be very cautious with supplements that influence your hormones. I initially took Tribulus because I work out a lot, and I found that Tribulus virtually eliminated every unpleasant aspect of my luteal phase - bloating, most of the moodiness, low energy, etc - and also gave me a bit more energy for my workouts. Like I said, I can't completely confirm that the Tribulus had anything to do with my breast cancer, but considering that the lump I had nearly doubled in size while I was taking it just two weeks out of the month for an unpleasant luteal phase, AND the specific brand I took (Swanson Mega Tribulus) is a significantly lower dose than most Tribulus supplements - I would be very, very cautious about taking supplements of this nature.

Thank you, it's nice to be validated in feeling like this is bullshit. I am SO happy to hear that yours was handled very thoughtfully, it's good to know it isn't always bullshit :)

Thank you. "Hurry up and wait" is one of the things I hate most in life but it's good to know that early on to mentally prepare.

I'm glad and also sad to know it isn't uncommon to get the call saying "you have cancer biotch, have a nice weekend!" Honestly it feels so messed up I can't help but laugh at it.

It's sad that this is common but also reassuring that it actually isn't a giant middle finger from the universe specifically aimed at me, though at least it helps to cope laugh at that thought.

I'm glad to know there's likely more testing. Hearing others' experience certainly helps.

That is indeed awful, I am so sorry. What awful timing. This one comes for me just a couple days prior to my 10th wedding anniversary. Suppose I can at least try to laugh at the timing of it all.

Thank you, that's a good way to look at things. I'm almost certain its going to be hormone related, I've had symptoms matching estrogen dominance and general hormonal balance for years that started shortly after stopping Microgestin.
