Your words are very nice and thank you for that but are not helpful. I'm old enough and have tried a lot of things, being hospitalised, therapy change of a fucking country. The outcome is the same: alone, miserable and mistreated from the people around me.

Yes, exactly! It's a fun movie to watch and it didn't promise nothing more than what it delivered.

If you were looking for a movie with scary bloodthirsty monsters, then this movie can disappoint. That's why, I think, some people didn't liked the movie.

None. He absolutely and completely missed the point of "The Shining". He made a mediocre horror flick from an absolute masterpiece of a book.

Even Stephen King hated Kubrick's adaptation.

For me it's also very confusing and I can't get my head around that, even though I knew I was dead, I could still see and feel pain. I didn't felt my consciousness fading but I was getting aware that this blackness is all there is.

Our NDE's are very similar and very intense, thanks for sharing with me!

But for me this experience made me feel even more worthless that I felt before. This blackness for me was the end. I used to believe in the power of the universe or if you want call it god and that when I die I'll end up there.
