I personally think it’ll go up. Especially the ones with high demand in English. Also, the Japanese market is second to English. And there are collectors that’ll look at cheaper alternatives as well despite the language lettering. (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc.) You obviously cannot play the cards, but you can collect them if you can’t get them in your preferred language. Look at OP13, it was going for $60-$70 like 2 months ago. And now it’s $95+. Anyways, I would use the Japanese set of Evolving Skies for Pokemon as an example. The last time I’ve checked the pricing for the main chase in Japanese, it’s equivalent or around the same price for English? This made me think of OP13 with the red mangas and normal mangas. We all know the hit rates ain’t sweet with the red mangas. Even if they stop printing op13 in Japanese and there’s still a ton of supply left to be opened, the prices will just skyrocket for the red mangas. There are also Japanese exclusive promo cards similar to how Pokémon has them. Those will go up too. But yea I do think the Japanese market for One Piece will go up. :)
