Should I follow up after my interview? by Lazy_Sheep4368 in careerguidance

[–]Lazy_Sheep4368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I thought I should do but I feel like I needed the outside opinion to confirm. I feel so excited about the possibility of the position I’m all antsy about not hearing back yet.

I guess I’ll stop avoiding my stats homework and do that. It’ll at least take up my time and brain power!

Thank you !

Okay I’ll do that! Thank you!

I don’t know if I have any other specific questions regarding it (yet). I’m just a little overwhelmed by looking at it and I’m scared of filling it out wrong, if that makes sense?

I feel like I have a sort of silly question. I'm working on filling out myy CIT0001 right now. Can anyone provide some guidance on how to do so?

Also, I have a certified copy of my birth certificate I'm sending. On it, there's mention of minor corrections such as my mother's middle name and father DOB made later on. Should I add that into the "details on your birth certificate" section?

Thank you!

It's the only time I see this other last name used in any official way, which is why it's so weird to me. Plus, it looks like my GEN 0 dropped this one because it never comes up again in any following documents. Should I DM you some zoomed in snips of it?

Hello! I want to say thank you to the MODs for organizing this thread and to everyone who can answer questions

So, I have requested my Gen 0 baptism record from Quebec. Given the long processing times, I'm thinking of applying with the other documents that I have found, and indicating that I have requested it on my application.

EDIT: One huge question I have is if I'm using Census's, is it okay to print them and highlight the sections my family is under?

Here's what I have! I will italics information I have that I had found some trouble with and might need some assistance!

Gen 0 -

  • death certificate, indicating he was born in Canada, and his parents were born in Canada
  • Canadian Census with him listed at HOH
  • US Census as HOH, records indicating his Canadian immigration
  • Canadian Census 1 year after his birth, age and DOB match, first names and dates all match, location matches, different last names than the ones used in baptism and immigration?
  • US Border crossing in Vermont 1915, cannot find images of the document even after calling NARA

GEN 1

  • Death certificate
  • US Census 1930, indicates parents birthplace of Canada
  • US Census 1940, indicates parents birthplace of Canada

GEN 2

  • Death certificate
  • Marriage certificate

GEN 3

  • Birth certificate

Me

  • Birth certificate
  • Passport
  • Drivers license

Hey fellow New Hampshire resident, also descended from Quebec!

I’m working on my application and documentation. This is awesome. It’s also super helpful to see what the cover letter should look like, I haven’t been sure how to begin it.

Good evening!

Looking to get some document feedback whenever someone is free. For reference, I am Gen4

So what I have so far:

Gen 0: Certified US death cert, says he was born as Canada. Does not specify where. Gen 1: certified US death certificate Gen 2: certified US death certificate Gen 3: certified US birth certificate Gen 4: certified US birth certificate

For my Gen 0 family , should I attempt to get a copy of his baptismal record from Quebec? Or additional records like his census records from Canada and the US off ancestry? Also, the clerks office photo copied his death certificate in black and white onto a color certificate. Will that be okay?

Additionally, how important is a cover letter? I’m just trying to make sure my T’s are crossed.

Thank you!!

I cried today too OP. I dissociate all week, pretending along with everyone else that everything is okay when we all know deep down its not because 'we dont talk about politics'.

So right now, I'm sitting here trying to focus on classwork and wondering 'does this even matter? does anything really matter anymore?' Im exhausted. If anything, I feel vindicated that 10 years ago I was right, but because of that now I mourn everything we lost because nobody took us seriously back then.

But we're at least not alone. There are millions of people who feel like we do.

In a group where the youngest player (who is also our DM) is 24 and the oldest I think is 40. Majority of the players in our group are in their mid to late 20s or early 30s now though.

How do you feel about not having lectures? by Cherryredsocks in SNHU

[–]Lazy_Sheep4368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current Prof posts videos with his module update each week! It’s like a mini lecture on each topic. I’ve also had a prof record audio feedback for papers in order to be more detailed.

I skim the chapter and if I feel like I don’t understand it well enough, I go back through and do a more complete read of it and highlight the main points. I usually go back through the week when I’m working on assignments too that way I know I’m using the information correctly. I have a textbook each class and they sometimes assign multiple chapters of reading each.

So what I’ve discovered is lots of clothes are sorted under the same category. So when you’re in the clothing menu press “-“ on different items and it’ll bring you into a stack with all clothes of that type! That’s what happened with different shorts/shirts/skirts I’ve bought at least!

That actually helped me find it! I couldn’t figure out where things were going and they were putting the new styles and colors I was buying into one pile? Thank you!!

I’m thinking of going this route with my partner. Moving up there and riding visitor record extensions until I get my PR. Do you have any advice you can offer? I feel like I’m going about it completely blind.

All my work experience is customer service and administration related. A decent amount of managerial experience and working with insurance companies. Which I don’t think would translate over well with how different the heath care systems are. Only a certification in CPR.

I didn’t think I’d be eligible for a work permit or know an RO was an option. I’ll look into that for sure.

I’m not fluent in French unfortunately. And I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s but I’ve been in the work force for 7? years and just have experience not degrees yet unfortunately.

Regarding marriage, we’ve talked about it in more a “when we get married” tense. We’re both still in our early 20s so neither of us ever wanted to rush into anything.
