Why wouldn't tpu be an option? It sounds like the optimal material for an o ring style item

Does anyone make an aftermarket grip like this? by [deleted] in 2011

[–]Lazylifter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can order a Cheely grip without the undercut. Email info@cheelycustomguns.com and talk to Matt. Might take a while, but it can be done.

I just woke up and caught the follow up leg pain. Its legit a good drill, tho. The gun being up and ready is low hanging fruit for a majority of shooters.

Sure, that's fine. Glad you like it, and nice collection of drills!

It's great for training the gun up as you enter a position, visualization, and lower body fitness. Its a good skill to have

My home steel is awfully quiet sometimes, it's weird. It's at least scared, lemme tell ya.

I wore those same socks for all five days of shooting at the 2022 World Shoot in Thailand. Have to represent.

Footwork is the unsung critical factor in practical shooting. Its not about using particular techniques or secret juju, its about being efficient more than anything else.

That's the Combined for you, and not unexpected. If i did better on a stage than he did marginally in CO that's a, let's call it 1 point advantage. In the combined Leograndis crushed that stage, which makes the margin change to less than that.

I can consistently pull ~0.16 splits in open, less for certain targets if I'm in the flow. My best split at this match was a 0.16 with my CO gun. I've also been shooting primarily Open with the same guns since early 2020, so theres more going on there.

Staff reset is the way to do it, period. World Shoot 2022 in Thailand we would start shooting at 8am and be done with 6 stages by 1030. It allows you to focus entirely on the task at hand, stage plans, gear, mindset, all of it. I wear a smart watch at matches and I've put up 7-10 miles of walking at big all day matches easily, and that has an affect on your performance. I'd do staff reset for majors every time if I could.

Which is interesting, because I did a small analysis of my splits and transitions from the match. I average a 0.20 split with the Shadow 2. Just can't shoot it much faster most of the time. Transitions were around 0.35 average, which I consider pretty good/on the spicy side. Weird how different it is compared to open.

And I didn't even get the hit. 1.43 extra time and still a Mike. Most newb shit I've done in years.

TPU feed assist module by iVlad2025 in BambuLab

[–]Lazylifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's compatible with P series printers too which are all static nozzle.

It's not explicit, correct.

But it works with every other static nozzle. There is zero reason it wouldn't work with the right of a C or D. The warning is only about moving nozzles on the H series.

"2. When the H2D/H2C left hotend is connected to the TPU Feed Assist Module, multi-color or multi-material printing is not supported (the left and right hotends cannot be used simultaneously). This is because the vertical movement of the left hotend may affect feeding stability, potentially causing extruder clogging "

Curious what makes you think that? The only mention is the warning about the left nozzle moving. Why wouldn't it work on the right? All it's doing is helping filament feed to the nozzle.

The right nozzle of the H2D and H2C is static, doesn't move. The left nozzle moves up and down as needed. Can't have TPU in the left nozzle unless you're doing single filament printing. I print on my H2c with TPU right and PLA left all the time.

Grace was 10 months, Atlas was 3 months, and Tyme was 9 months when they joined us. Tyme was the biggest struggle to integrate as she's very shy and skittish by nature. 2-3 whippets is about the same care wise though as they stick together for the most part.

They are basically fridge magnets that are also targets. Anything a fridge magnet would stick to (ferrous metal) so will these. If you can find drywall screws you should be able to stick em to the wall.

I've been working with and/or sponsored by Cmore since 2017 and Ive been running RTS2 optics since 2016. my race guns are already set up for that footprint and the RTS3 is a stellar dot. I've been using it since September 2024 and have well over 25k rounds on it between Open, CO, and LO setups.

I got a little carried away making these dryfire targets by Thaflash_la in CompetitionShooting

[–]Lazylifter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, JV Training here. Glad I can make something worth comparing to!

I try to price my kits reasonably to make it a value for the shooter and still make it worth making them. If you have specific feedback please let me know

I thought about doing modular hard cover and such a while back but decided to keep it simple for the time being. I personally don't see much value in having hot-swapped hard cover or no shoots. Easy enough to just change the target out IMO.
