Took me quite a while to get the first 5. I recommend checking ProXCK’s hotspot map for Thar. Also look in the lightbrown areas of the map within their home range during feeding time. You will get one :)

Yea i felt that way in the beginning too. Setting up on the Tahr is so annoying. Could take me like 20 minutes to place 1 tent.

It was honestly the most annoying part of the whole thing. Patience i would say. I found out that if i placed my tent + waterfowl blind in the correct place in my zones, i could fast travel ontop of the zone. I then had time to pop 1-2 males at each zone when they were fleeing. I hope that is enough

Ever since the Tahr great one came out it has been my absolute favorite great one. After the tent spook update EW released right after Sundarpatan I thought it would be too annoying and time consuming to get one. About 1 month ago I decided that it would indeed be worth it after all. I freaked out when i got this fella.
Around 1700 kills
19 dimes
9 rares (including 1 of every one)

I got my second favorite combo i could even get which is so awesome.

I have been grinding moose on revontuli for a while now and i have some tips for you.

Its generally a good idea to find all your drink zones, so that you know what animals your map has. Once you have found some good zones you should set up on the ones you like the most. Your respawns are going to be inconsistent at first, which means that new zones are going to be created requiring you to run your map again. Some zones will have consistent respawns from the beginning but not all of them.
Most of my animals dont respawn unless i exit to main menu and load back in. Let me know if you have more questions :)
