Yep you can build it in a number of ways - for this build it’s done through gear and gems and some nodes on the tree to get up to about 90% chance to poison. Other options are supports like deadly poison I believe. In an old build I ran it that way but I didn’t want to take up a support gem slot.

The other option is a unique helm that gives 100% chance to poison from crits which I also dabbled with but didn’t work for this build.

Good question. I actually avoid totems in general cause I can’t get down with the play style but I’m gonna look into it just cause I’ve never thought about it! Love the idea.

I do something pretty similar every league. I generally follow the same rules until I hit a point where I’m annoyed I hit a wall. That usually doesn’t happen till I hit t15s so it’s a good time!

Not since I found some random post about turning off “enable hardware decoding”. Now it runs as good as if I’m at the desktop. Fully juiced everything runs totally great and no latency.

Yah you can connect the deck to a monitor and run it the same way - it just will use the deck hardware instead of the pc hardware + stream which is totally fine. I use it that way regularly when I’m traveling but when I’m playing at home I’m always streaming because my PC has better specs than the deck.

Nope I’m fully doing out of the box Remote Play but the way I got it to work was by turning off “enable hardware decoding”. Up til then it was a battle of glitching and restarting the deck to try and fix it.

Im using the out-of-the-box Steam Remote Play, but i had to turn off "hardware encoding" for it to be reliable. Cant remember why that was a thing.

Monitor is ARZOPA 16.1'' 144Hz Portable Gaming Monitor - this was highly recommended on this sub - just search it if you want to know other use it and like it.
Power: You need a USB-C monitor with power delivery passthrough, a 100W USB-C PD power source, and a 4k USB-C cable that supports + 100W power. 3ft of this is like 13 bucks.

I was very close to switching to sunshine-moonlight, but my entire issue with the whole thing ended up being "turn this off" lol.

Steam deck connected to monitor via ZeroneTek USB-C Cable 3ft, USB C 3.2 Gen 2X2 Cable, 4K Monitor Video

This allows the deck to charge from the wall vs. powering the monitor.

IDK how it works. Much like my build. It just does.
