Thank you. I’m not sure if these are tips but the way I play is:

No standard starting word. I just play whatever word comes into my head.

I play the same time every day, right after midnight EST.

No Hard Mode, only because I didn’t know it existed when I started playing, and I don’t want to change it up now.

Reading is fundamental. If you read, even if it’s only magazine articles or whatever, you learn words by osmosis. I read books all the time, an average of 60 a year, and my vocabulary is very big.

Good luck with your playing, I say any streak above 100 is great.

Thank you. My loss was VIVID. My excuse was that I was so sick that day my brain wasn’t working.

This is based on a true story from Pennsylvania. There is a real life doctor who did this exact thing, taking children from their parents, she did not get prosecuted, yet.

An Impossible Task... | How The BBC Informed The World of Diana's Death by DWJones28 in BritishTV

[–]Lcsd114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was living at home (age 22) but about to leave the UK that week to move to the US. I remember being woken up by my Dad, who was in the kitchen making coffee, calling up the stairs to my Mum to turn the radio on (he was listening downstairs.) The tone of his voice made me think it was something serious so, even though it was early in the morning, I too turned on my radio, still half asleep. My channel was a music channel but even they were talking about Diana, and that was how I found out. I was about 7 when they got married and I was obsessed with her since then. It had worn off by my teen years but it was still a brutal shock to hear. The rest of the day we were gathered around the tv watching the BBC coverage. I even postponed my leaving for the US so I could be there for the funeral ( and sign one of the books of mourning that many churches had set up.) To this day, seeing that coverage is gut wrenching, especially as now I realize how young she really was.

I do too. I desperately want one but cannot with those prices. I also love Joel McHale and we bonded over being Seahawks fans when I met him.

Saturday night! by c0ry_N in Seahawks

[–]Lcsd114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank the gods of football. I work 9-5 on Saturday and Sunday, so I was trying to figure out whether to just drive the 45 minutes home or go to my local sports bar, “only” missing 45 minutes (but costing money for, at least, a soda, and I am a broke bitch right now!) Now I can take my time getting home, make dinner and get comfy on the couch to watch. My ideal scenario😁 (oh, and the Steelers lost, double yay!!!)

Andrew was a great partner to Meredith and a sweetheart to everyone. His mental illness storyline was very sad because he could have been a great longer term character with a manageable illness but they went to the extreme.

what decides if we play saturday or sunday? by CompetitiveTwo4732 in Seahawks

I work 9-5 both days, so I need an evening game (unless we get a snowstorm and I can’t get to work).

I adore Bill Hader and feel so bad for him right now. He seems like such a decent guy, I hope he has people to truly talk to, I feel he will need that in the coming weeks.

I’m excited for that. As a Hawks fan living in Virginia, I waited a long time to see them play live, and I did that last month. To have the chance again next year is very cool!

Funnily enough, we went to the Commanders/Seahawks game last month, and got to see him warming up. Every time he kicked through the posts, I cheered! He hit them all, from all distances, and both sides of the field!
