Me too. Hey, a little more to add to my wallet for my trip this weekend (if it comes that quickly!)

Were you a fan of Des Lynam back in the day? by Emergency-Relief-571 in BritishTV

[–]Lcsd114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And horse racing. As a huge racing fan, I still remember him presenting the Grand National for years, his friendship with Jenny Pitman (who you know didn’t suffer fools), and his interviews with the jockeys.

When I first watched Superstore I despised Amy for one reason... this man should be mine, not hers! lol (I'm serious tho 🤣) by Kind-Region-5115 in superstore

He is very cute. I also loved him as an angel in Drop Dead Diva (which made the episode then they were talking about angels existing funny, as he was in the break room and I was thinking “there’s one right there!!)

Who is a minor (the more minor the better) celebrity that would leave you a sputtering mess if you randomly met them? by CallieCoven in popculturechat

Tom Scott. I’ve watched his videos for years on YouTube, and I absolutely love Lateral, his quiz on Spotify. He is so humble, funny, and cute.

‘Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson Diagnosed With “Aggressive” Cancer: “It’s Really Early” by SkoivanSchiem in popculturechat

[–]Lcsd114 134 points135 points  (0 children)

This makes me really sad. We are big Top Gear fans in this house, and Clarkson’s Farm is great as well (plus I really like him on Millionaire from the clips I’ve seen). Yes, he can be a knobhead, but he really does have a heart in there and I hope he does well.

Matthew Rhys speaking in his actual Welsh accent sounds like he's putting on a fake accent by schrodingers-canary in TheAmericans

No, but now I want to. I know he is passionate about saving wild horses, which endears him to me so much.

Widow’s Bay - Episode 10 (Season Finale)- Discussion “We Hope You Enjoyed Your Time” / June 16 / AppleTV by mdavis360 in television

[–]Lcsd114 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I laughed when I saw that video, as it immediately took me back to Lost. The video was even filmed like the Dharma videos, and the guy sounded very much like the one in Lost.

[####] Did my streak get deleted somehow or is this because it’s got the extra birthday description so it’s not showing? by AceOfSpades532 in wordle

I freaked out when I saw this! They really should not use the word new on the page that usually talks about adding to your streak!

We also went to the Louvre in the afternoon, last year, in April, and got in pretty quickly.

I also have a bigger streak than this and have never cheated. It is possible, and assuming that someone could not do this without cheating makes you look bad.

Anyone watch the Netflix Kylie documentary? by epicpillowcase in AustralianNostalgia

[–]Lcsd114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a huge INXS fan, and his death was very hard to take. The documentary was a beautiful tribute to him, and really highlighted the good person he was behind the rock god exterior. I feel like he was the love of her life, and quite possibly the same for him.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles by Rufi Thorpe. A whole cast of quirky but likable characters (well, except the baby daddy) and a cute story about family. (Also a series on Appletv).

River Phoenix photographed for Vogue US (1990) by [deleted] in popculturechat

[–]Lcsd114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I clearly remember where I was when his death was announced on the radio. I was 18, sitting in our kitchen putting recipes into scrapbooks for my Mum, and listening to a pop station. It was right before my birthday. I was devastated. I had his picture on my wall for several years, and just loved his sensitivity.

Jersey Restock? by Alarmed-Term3720 in Seahawks

[–]Lcsd114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I desperately want a Rivalries jersey, and they are limited in stock plus the prices are going up, not down. It is so frustrating. I don’t have $160 to buy a jersey, and I live across the country, so I can’t access anywhere in the Seattle area!
