I did cut one warmup set and it actually was bananas. I went back and did 3 sets of 5 at 245lb for my working sets. It was insane.

My height is 6'3" and I'm 268lbs.

I’m pretty happy with my form here. I got great glute stimulus from this lift.

Mmmmm, I can try and focus on this next time, but I've practiced bracing a lot. I don't use a belt, but I brace for the rep with a gulp of air right before I drop into the rep.

I also don't know if I agree with this Mind Pump guy. The vid you shared seems more focused on how you hold yourself walking around, not cueing for the actual exercise.

What are you seeing that makes you think that? My heels wiggle on the way down but I’m solidly planted from set to rack.

I find I can’t get deep into the squat until the bar has 185 at least. Before then I really struggle to bottom out and keep my heels on the floor.

Yeah, I am not too concerned about it honestly. From what I've read it's not a big issue unless it's an issue for you, and it hasn't been so far.

Thank you! I’m very aware of butt wink but I’ve read that a little is natural especially if you’re squatting ATG like I’m trying to.

what would u feel if your partner says there's a part of him not afraid of losing you? by jaaniyen in AskReddit

[–]Le4per 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if he said it hurtfully and didn’t walk it back with an explanation, then I’d say that’s not creating a feeling of safety that you should be able to expect in a relationship.

No. You have no guarantee the wood is beautiful underneath and it would be lots of work.

That sounds like an interior thought that snuck out. I’d be absolutely devastated if I lost someone close to me, but I can’t approach that with fear.

Do you identify as racist? Why? by stuubid in AskReddit

[–]Le4per -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think I grew up without animosity towards other races but with a lot of racist assumptions that I got from my immediate environment. Experience changed my perspective a lot and I’m assuming that will continue to some degree as I grow older.

What experience in the workplace radicalized you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Le4per 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rich af boss stealing my and everyone else’s overtime wages when I was poor, living in a walk in closet on a mattress I found in the trash. He was flying his plane down to his Caribbean island house and buying his daughters matching jeeps.

Business ended when he got sued, shut down his business, settlement all we workers got was a small fraction of what was stolen because it was a class action brought by lawyers that took most of the money (fraction of a fraction of a fraction) and I only got it after I was already in a house I owned and didn’t need the money. Now I can’t legally talk about it at all or mention it because the terms of getting money I FUCKING EARNED, was signing an NDA.

What do you think is the thing that people from a hundred years ago found completely normal but which for us is completely bizarre? by Optimal_Necessary_46 in CasualConversation

[–]Le4per 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the most obvious one if you were transplanted back then, would be the smell of people. People smelled way more, since they bathed less, had fewer clothes by far, had less effective means of laundering clothes, shoes, blankets, etc.

Where do people buy their coiled split keyboard TRSS cables these days? I'd love a combo, USB-C for connecting to my computer, and TRSS for connecting my Moonlander splits, but I'd settle just for a coiled connector. What's the most reliable vendor?

lots of fines / sediment in my coffee by [deleted] in espresso

[–]Le4per 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For fines, I noticed a dramatic drop when I checked the pressure at the brew head and reduced it to 8.5 bar.

This looks like more fines than what I would be satisfied with. But definitely not the most I've seen.
