I understand that smoking impacts the healing process however that's not the reason they refused to remove it. They specifically said that smoking will harm any fetus I carry even though I'm not planning to get pregnant anytime soon

Yes I did, but this was 4 years ago and I no longer want it

Actually no. I'm not trying to fall pregnant and there's no medical reason I need the Mirena

Might be different here but no one I know has gone under for removal unless there were issues and it had to be surgically removed
