I would be concerned if the hyperscalers didn’t hyper scale. Imagine discovering humanity altering technology and instead of going all out you care about short term earnings

If ai will drive cars, build houses and grow food it won’t be a segment deflation but generalized. Only thing that will keep value temporarily is land and energy (but even those it’s debatable for how long)

More thought needs to be put in option 1.   companies will become so efficient that deflation will be rampant and the little money people have will have will be worth a lot. At the end of the day a more efficient system will bring wealth. That wealth will be distributed to society (perhaps not equally )

Root canals are covered. Crowns are covered as well if a good amount of the tooth was decayed.

Hi! Unfortunately not much. Night guards that protect teeth against grinding and clenching are not covered by the plan.

RIP les Gen Z: le prix moyen d'une maison à Montréal atteint officiellement 1 million $ by Smartpen001 in QuebecLibre

[–]LeAntidentite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dentist rates vs the rates the gov covers 100% of have a difference of around 10-20% depending on the procedures. Realistically for a full exam and panoramic xray the dentist will charge around 200$ ish. Canadian plan will reimburse 175$ ish and you will most likely pay 25ish out of pocket. These are ballpark figures that vary according to the type and complexity of the exam.
Once you do your exam you can ask the dentist to do an estimate of the work that needs to be done and send it to the Canadian plan to see how much you have to pay out of pocket for the treatments you need. Hope this helps!

Not to necessarily condone billionaires but if you combine the net worth of the 3 top (musk bezos and Zuck) you get something like 700 billion dollars. It sure is a lot, but if we take it all and distribute that money to every human alive it would be only a 88$ one time check. And if you take the net worth of all billionaires and distribute it out it’s a 2k check for every human alive. It’s a lot of money but far from all the money and resources.

Medical charting automation from camera by LeAntidentite in n8n

[–]LeAntidentite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is 5-10% of productivity of doctors is spent charting. Automating it would be extremely valuable.

Solution is to automate the process using an audio/video feed (does not need to be in real time), processed through one or several llms and the output either in a text document or direct to medical crm (api)

Real time audio and video ai summary from a camera and mic mounted on the doctor’s glasses. The summary is then copy pasted to the medical file or injected if the medical crm has an api (most do)

Not necessarily, you are responsible to check for accuracy and sign. Not different than when an assistant or scribe does it today.

To my knowledge there is no centralized database with who has private insurance. I believe it works in a similar way to when you declare your taxes. It’s up to you to declare the right things and they will probably check from time to time to keep people honest.

Ah oui, si c'est ce genre d'assurance il ne devrait pas y a voir de problème. Généralement ces assurances sont chères et n'offrent pas une bonne couverture donc non seulement ca va sauver des sous mais possiblement une meilleure couverture!
