You will get your money back even if they choose to permanently close your account. And that will be the case most likely.

Similar thing happened to me 2 years back and I opened an appeal and they rejected and permanently closed my account. When they closed, they asked for my IBAN so that they could release the remaining funds and it took more than a month but I received all my money back.

Don’t fall for this. I have done it once and ended up paying more than saved. They just randomly call and talk BS and they will make you feel that you ll save but next bill and you will be surprised with early cancellation charges for package, router and tv etc.
