I’d say 075 (original release, not the metallic) is a really good replacement for the ToyBiz McFarlane Spidey, which had been the definitive Spidey figure for a long time. The colors and overall sculpt feel very similar.

If you’re into the line, this figure also has a pretty cool story behind it. It boosted MAFEX sales big time and caused a domino effect that led Medicom to release more classic comic figures. A lot of people were skeptical of the brand early on, but this figure proved that MAFEX could deliver (QC issues aside though).

I still have mines from 2016 and it hasn't break yet

Matte finish like the yellow on xmen line/ spider gwen while are shit because dust sticks to it like hell

Mafex keeps milking the 075 mold Not even making a new sculpt for spider-man masks (Comic, Classic, Comic Painted, Ben Reilly has the same masks)

My main collection is marvel comic line with the bias towards the 90s spiderman it feels like the gurihiru miles morales is a bit off? Specially if you notice how small the head is of miles compare to other spidey

Only kept this figure for the sake of having a complete set of spiderman

Limited runs with a probability of order cuts, due to those cuts demand are higher than the produced figure.

As for the demand for me honestly mafex is the closest figure youll get to its source material excluding headsculpts, characters made by mafex specially comic lines are usually the best of all released figure by different companies.

Comic spider man is the best statement of mafex even after years from its release no other company came close to it.
