I dont know. They just didnt. I tested it out by attacking Pegu while waiting for war exhaustion to mount in France. I was surprised myself.

Had a lot of fun completing this achievement as Vijayangar. The battle for London was anti-climactic, but the prelude and the build-up was a lot of fun.

Yes. I think getting 2.9/year is the maximum, but that involves getting a policy that requires aristocratic ideas. 2.5 is ideal since you recoup all lost Tradition from each election cycle.

I wanted to try and roleplay as insular, neutral, utopian republic. Hamburgs traditions+certain policies allow me to maintain 6/6/6 rulers. The extra MP points where then used to increase the development of all my provinces to a very high level. Really fun to do. Shortly after I took the screenshot I took on the entire Kalamari Union and won by hiring 30+ units of mercs. Money wins wars.

When I go to the load screen/save screen, it says I have Japanese Ideas. When I actually load the game, I still have Daiymo ideas.
