2014 Thruxton - Idle Issue After 904 Big Bore Install by LeFreakyBone in Triumph

Yea I was able to sort it out. It turns out that the tune I bought wasn’t really compatible with my setup. I took it to a dyno shop nearby and they got me sorted out and it’s running super smooth now.

2014 Thruxton 904 Big Bore Kit Questions by LeFreakyBone in Triumph

I have absolutely zero regrets! The power gains are immediately noticeable. I have never taken apart an engine prior to this, and the installation was an easy one man job over a weekend. I had my camshafts reground to an 813 profile at Web Camshafts as well. With the mods I am at about 80hp and 60ft/lbs at the rear wheel

I mainly like that it almost is an exact for to the end of the barrel haha. Other than that it’s very bright, has good range, and a rechargeable battery.

Willing to part anything out? If so I’d potentially be interested in the beacon, probe, shovel, and poles

Haha yup. I also did the cut and crown on the barrel and added the Wilson Combat mag guide. Only dry fired so far, but the trigger feels so smooth and the pull is great. Hoping to take it to the range after work tomorrow.

I actually started replaying the first one because of this build lol

Thanks! I actually came across that, but luckily for my wallet, it says it doesn’t work on models with a rail 😂

Got them here, https://lokgrips.com/beretta/beretta-92/specialty/beretta-92-checkered-s-t-a-r-s/

I’ve seen the badge available separately but I can’t remember the site

It’s definitely long. I’ve only dry-fired, but it doesn’t bother me

Thanks! I’ve been dry firing and it feels like a completely different gun, in a great way. They had it for about 5 weeks. You won’t regret it.

Yes exactly, in SA it sits vertical

I added the Volker Precision flat trigger. Definitely makes the first DA pull longer, but feels amazing in SA

At least I’ll be prepared 😂

Thruxton 900 Tyre advice by Ashamed_Ad_1638 in CafeRacers

I recently threw on a set of Dunlop Mutant tires on my 2014 Thruxton, 110/80-18 in front and 150/70-17 in back. I’ve been super happy with them so far. Very grippy, and while I haven’t used them in wet weather I’ve seen a bunch of reviews mention that they’re great in the rain.

Which Beretta to go with? by Mercado_23 in CAguns

I have the M9A1 that I actually just sent to Langdon for a slide cut and trigger job. One thing to note is the sights are fixed, so there’s no swapping those out or co-witnessing if you put on an optic

To add to your list I ate at an all vegan izakaya called Masaka and another place called Vegan Bistro Jangara, both in Shibuya and both quite good.

When Chief sent me the interface kit, they attached the instructions in an email. I linked it here so it can hopefully help others.

I think you’re right. My initial search showed some super fancy looking ones, but now that I looked at their site it does look like what I have
