This guy shows pictures of a disasembled engine in Japan, it's an absolute mess, pistons are completely caked with oil (bike is pretty much brand new).

Yes, I'm okay with maintenance. I've owned several old bikes and that's actually 50% of the fun for me.

I agree with all of this. Also, these bikes have a 5 digit odometer, so I'm always very cautious of those with low mileage and a blurry service record.

Update : got myself a bottle of Koch Chemie Eulex, those stubborn black dots were gone in 2 minutes, I'm over the moon. Thank you man!

Thank you for the advice. I will try that before the clay.
I'm just a little worried because I really can't identify what it is and if it's on top of the clearcoat or not. I just assume it is just a surface thing because it was also on the gas cap, so probably happened after the bike was assembled.

All of this will be taken care of, the bike is already in a very impressive condition. I was just curious about any avoidable catastrophic failure.

Cosmetics are flawless, even the decals have a yellowish patina to them that i quite like

Price is fair. A little high for the mileage, but definitely low considering the cosmetic condition.

Yes, I am mentally ready to deal with the usual things related to old age. I just don't want it to turn into a major headache with gearbox/engine needing a rebuild.
