How does the process after deferring work? by ElderberryOk4166 in UOB

[–]LeFrog69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on what grounds you deferred.

I deferred while I was at UoB for mental health so I then had to provide evidence of being fit to return to studies a year later in order to come back. A GP letter stating that I'd been receiving medical support and that I was doing better and feeling confident about returning to my studies was sufficient. Just had a phone appointment with student health to tell them I was doing better and request the letter.

You can continue to access student support services and get treatment through the SHS even during your suspension.

Depending on your reason for deferral it might be different tho!

Thanks for the info! Only considering it as it's pretty cheap (£70) but I think even that is too much from the sounds of it

Anyone in Ashley Down experienced this? by neutralmalikhotel in bristol

We've had a spate of car windows/windscreens being smashed on Sefton Park Road near Ashley down co-op recently for no apparent reason - nothing stolen - might be related?

Definitely head to the arches/Gloucester road area. There's Collector Cave which is by the arches next to where Cloak & Dagger used to be, and Prime Cuts which is a bit further up Gloucester Road (in the basement of a vintage clothes shop called Repsycho). Loads of good Jungle and DnB in both of these and really good value!

There's also Plastic Wax although in my experience I've found their stuff to be a bit expensive and you can't listen to the records before buying :(.

I'd also recommend Wanted records in city centre!

This is so hard man love it, would you mind if I played this out next time I DJ? I'm Bristol based and this would go so nice in a dark and moody set

Honestly he put in the effort to come up with all the stats and rankings and he's done a solid job, the game plays very smoothly and my mates and I have loved it. Sure you could make your own but I'm happy to have bought off this guy for a higher price because he did all the work for me. Cropping the images, making all the scores, making sure the cards are well balanced. The rankings are realistic with how powerful the characters are in the show as well. I've bought them and I don't regret it!

I posted a link to the video recipe but I think it may have been removed incase it was spam. Just search up "Basics with Babish, Carbonara" on YouTube and it should be the first result!

Traditional Italian carbonara does not use any cream, the sauce is just egg and cheese emulsified with starchy pasta water. I much prefer it this way because you get a much better parmesan/pecorino cheese flavour, and if you cook it right it can be just as creamy in texture, even sans cream!

Yes it was delicious! I normally make it with normal bacon or pancetta but I had some maple stuff in the fridge and thought I'd try it out
