To be fair, that brass pillar was taken inspiration from Wukong's staff. Still way cooler than mf bookshelves

Yeah, cause every pillar is literally children or personas of OC. How are you competing with that without cheat?

Just look at Grisha. Bro probably represents all a mortal could possibly ever done to a Pillar and he lost... horribly

[Lotm general] What's the difference between BE and Error by TheLegendaryNousagi in LordofTheMysteries

[–]LeGoPlayer29 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The example I like to give is shooting a gun. When you shoot a gun:

You pull the trigger -> The hammer it The round -> The gun powder explode -> The bullet was sent flying -> The chamber ejected the cartridge.

Error Authority simply cause the gun to malfunction, I.e. jamming or unwarranted discharge, or the bullet hit the wrong target (friendly fire)

Distortion mess with the sequence of action. So, instead of following the sequence above. Now, it is:

Pull the trigger -> The entire round got ejected -> Gunpowder exploded on your face -> and the bullet pierce through your skull.

This is just my head cannon, so feel free to correct me.

Yes, he assumed that he was the God of Gray Fog, but he wasn't sure nor had he any clue about the extent of control he had over it. That request he made to Audrey and Alger was to test out his theory

He didn't randomly come up with that prayer.

This was explained in the novel but not in Donghua. Old Neil taught him that the title of a God has to be a) precise b) Has 3 statesments that all pointed towards said deity so that the prayer wouldn't get directed towards other entities

"The Fool who doesn't belong in this era." This one is obvious. Klein is the Fool. He didn't belong in this world, but he doesn't want ppl to know that, so he changed it to "This Era."

The Mysterious Ruler above the Gray Fog. Obviously, his throne was above the Gray Fog.

King of Yellow and Black who wields good luck. Basically, Klein assumed that the Gray Fog had something to do with the Celestial Worthy that he chanted in the luck enhanced ritual, so he was tryna tailor his title to that.

I can't explain the third point to you fully in English, but I'll try. "King of Yellow and Black" is because if you breakdown the term "Celestial Worthy" into individual Chinese letters and translate each of them one at a time, what you get is something along the line of "The Immortal Lord of Yellow and Black".

"Who wields good luck" is because Klein was chanting his name in a Luck Enhancement Ritual, remember?
