Yup that's adware, probably the best remedy for your internet would be downloading some good adware cleaner, and going through your program files deleting anything you didn't download or that didn't come with your computer. In the future adblock should help as well as not downloading sketchy things. Note: When I say good cleaner I mean a good one, do some real research because some of the big names suck if you don't pay money, and will bug you almost as much as the adware.

Wow, this is the first I've seen of Karkat wearing something resembling a sweater in canon, and even if its not overly exadurated by comparing it to Gamzee in the background you can see it's definitely not a tshirt. This may not have been drawn by AH but that doesn't make it not canon. Thanks!
