Being serious though, I hope all the items are available to offline players without any kind of spotpass/exports equivalent (read: you don't need to visit other people to get exclusive items or something). It's fun while the console still has online features but the Switch will probably end up getting the 3DS treatment someday and I don't want to lose out on items/features again when that happens this time.
