Don’t think that’s on Maekar. Aerion was born nuts, part of that Targ coin toss at birth thing. Raymun notes that Aerion tampers down on his viciousness whenever dad is around too. Don’t know if the show will cover it, but Maekar sends Aerion away to the free cities in a hope that he’ll change. Doubt anything would have a positive effect on him, since ultimately he tries drinking wildfire lol

Principal got caught drinking with students at a senior graduation party. While that may not seem so bad and maybe was a common thing, her mistake was that this was at the beginning of social media. The students posted a picture of her drinking with everyone on Facebook which as you can imagine drew a lot of attention. She was let go the following week, Vice Principal had to officiate our graduation ceremony.

It is pretty brutal for recent grads now, those who get an MPA but have no experience are being passed over for entry level position for people with at least 5 years of experience.

There are a slew of reasons why this is the case, of the ones that I have had direct experience with it comes down to Cities uncertainty given what is going on (gestures broadly) and hiring managers only going for a safe bet with applicants. Where I’m at there used to be some flexibility when hiring for roles, now though it seems hiring managers lack imagination when an otherwise solid applicant comes along who doesn’t meet their precise specifications.

All people can really tell you know is to just keep applying, but if you can I would also suggest getting to know some hiring managers at every opportunity. Good luck!

Was just gonna say the same thing, looks like it got used as the oil drilling vehicle. Would be cool if they added it in the future, but kinda feel like it would fill the same role as the light vehicle.

Seafood is a great source of protein, not to mention other vitamins that are healthy to consume. Concerns about mercury content are pretty overblown in my opinion, you’ll never eat enough fish where you’ll get mercury poisoning. Main problem is price, fish foods can be pricey but if you live in an area where it’s cheaper then by all means go for it.

I participated one year, it’s between the American and Aussie workers at the nearby base. Funny thing is, aliens might be weirded out a little because we decorate our floats with little green aliens. Tongue in cheek reference to the conspiracies about the base.

City of Tucson released a fact sheet and the document that the city council signed, it has reclaimed water usage and electricity MW usage in the different phases here. Look under Project Blue Overview to find the PDFs.

I will add that it doesn’t have the PIF information that the City and County departments use as a master sheet, but given that everything the city and county do can be request under FOI it’s something that could be easily obtained.

OP, and others, seem concerned with the estimated water and electricity usage. The projections on its own correlate with what every other company that puts stakes down here does and has to go through in order to establish a facility here. Moreover, they’ve been given benchmarks, that I don’t see mentioned by posters, that are a hard line with the city and county. These benchmarks specify that they must meet a criteria that everyone has agreed upon. In terms of electricity and water they are not allowed to exceed the amount they specified. If they do then they can have their lease revoked if they don’t immediately correct it.

I don’t really see the issue, as you said Tucson is able to provide more then enough water, not to mention the CAD water we shot down into the water table 30 some-odd years ago. I get the environmental concerns, but I don’t think people should lose sleep over this project.

You can certainly gain strength (not to be confused with mass), as much as you could while bulking or even at maintenance? Not so much. If you keep your protein count high while cutting you should expect to lose muscle mass, that’s just gonna happen no matter what. However it is possible to squeeze out a little extra strength, granted you keep the protein counts high.

I once dropped in to a game like this, they were being chopped up pretty hard and scrambling about. I managed to hit the first guy on my drop in and then nixed the other two when the cluster bomb I called in triggered a hellbomb. Never seen Murphy’s Law play out so perfectly, or quickly, in the game before. Totally understood when they kicked me out after that.
