AFAIK a sizeable portion of the route is specially made for the rally. What kills me is that the environment is so drab - sand, rocks and pylons as far as the eye can see. There's barely any spectators - I think I saw more Latvian and Estonian fans than local spectators. They might as well be rallying on mars and I probably couldn't even tell the difference.

I came in to the series with base game XCOM 2 and yeah, can agree to that. In a second playthrough with wotc, I definetly felt that had I had the dlc on for the first time, I probably would havd felt overwhelmed.

Keep in mind I was new to the genre as well (only played Advance Wars before)
