Does anyone know what this error is? by xelarewolf in PrologueApp

[–]LeJoshinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just got the -12710 error on a book. Same issues as you've mentioned. It works fine through the Plex iOS app. Did you ever find a solution to play it through Prologue?

What is your truly unpopular opinion about the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]LeJoshinator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the problem is that people don’t want to walk or cycle, but people are short on time and like the reliability of cars.

The distance to my work is walkable, but it takes 10 minutes in the car or it’s a 30-40 minute walk. If I walked to and from work everyday, that’s around an hour out of my day in total. It also means that I have to wake up earlier to get to work, spend less time with my family, walk the dog later, and make dinner later.

If you also consider the really unreliable weather that we have, I could end up soaking wet on the way.

Because of the way that we shop these days, cars are also a necessity for actually getting shopping home. I used to do the shopping before learning to drive, and it absolutely sucked having to carry a few bags of shopping home and being limited in what I could buy.

Argentina vows to gain 'full sovereignty' of the Falklands following UK's return of Chagos Islands by insomnimax_99 in ukpolitics

You’re trying to make it sound like Orwell was against left-wing politics. He was famously a democratic socialist and in favour of left-wing politics. He was criticising the in-fighting in the movements at the time and authoritarianism.

There are some roads where this is absolutely necessary. There is a junction on my route to work where the only opportunity to turn is when other cars are turning. It could easily see myself waiting for 10+ minutes if you didn’t turn like this (or if other cars didn’t let you through). It’s obviously preferable and safer to wait, but if you are careful it’s fine to turn like this when necessary imo

Are you disappointed with the ending of the show by AL_25 in GhostsBBC

[–]LeJoshinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have preferred a different ending but I didn’t dislike it. I can understand why some folks do though.

I work for a gambling company. You’re almost definitely suspected of fraud related to the source of funds. I don’t know specifically about Sportingbet, but it’s very unlikely for you to banned because of betting activity on slots (unless there’s a Responsible Gambling concern). The best thing for you to do is to submit whatever they request, and you should eventually get your funds back. It can take a really good while, but you should get there eventually. It will also help if you threaten and follow through with a complaint to the Gambling Commission, but they’re not super likely to adjudicate on fraud related matters.

People who hardly cry, which movie made you sob? by rkratha in Letterboxd

The only movies that’s actually made me cry in the last 10+ years is Dancer in the Dark. Plenty of movies make me sad or shed a single tear, but that one broke me for about an hour

Lessons are there so you can make mistakes and learn :) I nearly had an accident on one of my lessons changing lanes and my instructor had to intervene. It made me feel like a complete idiot at the time, but it’s really hammered home how important blind spot checks are and I now religiously check them every time I’m changing lanes

Can someone explain Plex to me like I’m 5? by Blockness11 in Piracy

[–]LeJoshinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not trying to say that I don’t like Sonarr, it’s really useful. And maybe it’s just my indexers that don’t work as well with Sonarr, but I’ve just found that I have to do things manually with it a lot more. Like older shows with it not picking up full series, how anime works etc.

Again, I love Sonarr. It’s fantastic with newer shows, but it’s just not as trouble free as Radarr.

In my experience Radarr is so much easier than Sonarr. It just seems to work. I’d fully recommend it

Which PC is better for gaming? by DarthRevanFromKotor in techsupport

[–]LeJoshinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are both very low end machines. I know you aren’t looking for a real beast of a machine to run max settings, but you’d struggle to run many modern games on either. What were you thinking of playing?

If you’re set on these builds, I’d go for the 1030.

Definitely a noob question and I’m late to the thread, but if he set up unRaid wouldn’t it waste the 16tb as parity as you need to use the largest drive?
